After years of always going to the same place, last night we wanted to change. We were rewarded with excellent food, zampina, bombette, bruschetta with stracciatella and dried tomatoes (highly recommended), kind and courteous staff and a location in the middle of the ancient village and very pretty. We will definitely be back. Greetings, friends of Corato.

I went to this place with my family for lunch on January 1st. Local recently renovated in a rustic way, very large, made up of two rooms: one larger and one a little smaller with an internal courtyard used for summer days. Excellent, fresh and quality food, also fast and friendly service. I advise. We will definitely return.

Perhaps less mentioned than the other grill restaurants, but certainly BETTER than the others, from the service at the tables to the quality of the meat and the final bill, an experience to be absolutely enjoyed!

Sono stato a cena con amici, tutto molto buono a partire dalla zampina per poi parlare delle bombette di una bontà fuori dal normale, da quelle al puré di patate a quelle di fesa e panatura al limone. Non parliamo del posto che e molto grande, nonostante non avessimo prenotato, ci hanno accolto e fatto accomodare trovando subito soluzioni ad altre tavolate già con prenotazione. Personale davvero gentile con camerieri molto preparati e servizio veloce con i giusti tempi. Ci ritornerò.

27/03/2024: Various and plentiful starters. Excellent pizza. The spaghetti all'assassina leaves something to be desired. Affordable prices. Too crowded considering the current infections and some waiters did not observe the obligation to wear masks. We were not asked for the green pass. I will return, perhaps, when there is outdoor service on the terrace. Update 01/11/2023: I'm back and I take back my old rating of spaghetti all'assassina. This time they were excellent, like all the other courses. The staff is always very kind and efficient. Even though the restaurant was crowded, we didn't wait any longer than necessary. Rating changed: 5 stars. Update 03/27/24. Rating unchanged: 5 stars for service, quality, kindness and efficiency.
26/03/2024: Many seats, if you want to find a last minute seat you could find it here. Very easy parking also near the venue. Nice atmosphere, fast service, pretty good pizza. Meat: if you leave it to them the bill could be salty, be careful. Livers arrived burnt, but were only requested well cooked. The fact that there are many seats has not only advantages but also disadvantages: very, very high background noise, really annoying, too bad. Maybe better to go during the week and not on the weekend.

26/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant by the sea, location for 9, very good typical dishes, fast service.
25/03/2024: Very beautiful location with repurposed antique pieces (see the chandelier made from an old lamp). Having lunch with the sea next to you is always beautiful! I recommend the raw seafood and sea urchins but I strongly advise against the tagliolini with clams as it turned out to be tasteless. The clams were good but the pasta seemed not to be creamed and seasoned so we didn't like it and pointed this out to the owner who agreed with us but without intervening in any way. In some cases sincerity is appreciated but you cannot serve three poorly made first courses without making up for it in any way, I think it is a shame to have good raw materials and not valorise them in the dishes. The staff was quite friendly.
