Irish Pub Via Verdi In L'aquila

Probably the most beautiful place in L'Aquila. Excellent for lunch and dinner but also just for drinking a quality beer. Highly recommended

Excellent place to spend time drinking a beer in company.

Fantastic venue, in the center of a wonderful city in the midst of its rebirth. Ideal location in a corner between the two most important streets, the narrow street and Via Verdi, which leads directly to the square of the Meraviglioso Teatro and the monumental Church of San Bernardino. First of all it is an Irish pub, therefore a warm and welcoming atmosphere, very high quality finishes, perfectly matched wood species, fabrics of wonderful colors and designs, warm and never annoying lighting and, not least importantly, the smells; there is never a bad smell, even when it is packed with people. The beers are delicious, as are the dishes offered for lunch and dinner, from the classic hamburger to the more refined risotto, all of high quality and served by staff who are always very helpful and smiling. Very acceptable waiting times considering that it is almost always packed. Particular note for the bathroom, which alone is worth a visit. Update today 25 March 2024 which confirms the excellent quality and vast choice of food, beers and drinks in general, indeed perhaps everything has improved. Prices have remained very honest despite the general increase in the cost of living. Amazing french fries.

Splendid pub, with great attention to detail, which has nothing to envy of those in Dublin! Attentive and very kind staff, fantastic atmosphere and really quality food and drinks! A gem not to be missed!!

Il locale è grande, arredato alla maniera tipica dei pub irlandesi, pulito ma sovraffollato, tavoli e sedute non troppo comode poiché gli spazi sono angusti. Il cibo è buono ma potrebbe migliorarsi con qualche piccola attenzione. Amatriciana non male, pasta e patate troppo brodosa, cottura delle carni leggermente troppo avanti. Peccato perché il locale è bello e meriterebbe di più. Vasto il menù così come ampia la scelta delle birre e dei vini. Prezzi nella norma.
