La Cantina del Vino In Polignano a mare

The best wine bar we've been to in puliga; brilliant wine and cheese and meat board. Lovely guy serving us who had exceptional knowledge on the wine!

We loved this hidden gem! We sat for a glass of wine at the counter and ended up staying for 3, chatting with Tomasso. He is great! The cheeses and meats are not to be missed. We had to take some home for ourselves. It’s the local vibe that you should be searching for.

There is little to say, in a beautiful country that now lives on the commodification of its traditions, culinary and otherwise; this flavor shop remains one of the last outposts of the genuine Apulian culture of drinking and eating: in fact, although very "instagrammable", Tommaso and his father are REAL, genuine and sociable as they once were, when social media didn't exist. Apulian excellences and some gems from outside too. Every time I return to Puglia, the wine cellar has become a must... and I even take my grandmother there to get wine for her, TOP!

The right place for wine enthusiasts! The owner is extremely helpful, the choice of wines is excellent and the platters are delicious!
