Very good lunch, very characteristic location and the service was fast and impeccable. The bill was more than fair, considering the quality of the food and the service. I highly recommend "La Contrada di Tony" to anyone looking for a restaurant where they can enjoy excellent Campania cuisine in a welcoming and familiar environment.

Excellent pizza, even with cereal pasta, even lighter. Great choice of Neapolitan craft beers and a wide selection of delicious desserts.

My favorite place to get gnocchi alla sorrentina outside of Sorrento! Have yet to be disappointed, whether ordering takeout or dining in. Reasonable wait times. There’s a very cute garden area that’s nice during warmer weather, and the inside is cozy. The location is inconspicuous (behind a gas station) but you can tell it’s a local favorite by how busy they get! During my visits they haven’t spoken much English, but honestly it didn’t affect my experience. It wasn’t difficult to order and I didn’t feel judged for my mediocre pronunciations 😆 I haven’t tried to order on the phone though.

Ho voluto riscrivere un altra recensione perché per me è sempre la pizza senza glutine numero uno ....super leggera ....idem anche quella con glutine...questa volta ho fotografato..... Personale gentilissimo

È sempre una bella esperienza. Questa volta abbiamo preso anche le pizze. La Boss Mortacchiata un vero monumento alla gola. La Norcina è una buona variante e calza bene in questo periodo. 😆 Da tornarci ogni volta che si può.

Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso

27/03/2024: Average pizza, inappropriate for the price. The dough is weak, and the pizza itself reminds me of native bread soups. Pizza from a random place for €5 is much better. Nice place, tablecloths, stylized as a serious restaurant. The restaurant is located in a pleasant corner. The service was polite, but instead of a glass or a small bottle, I was brought two 1L bottles of water, the prices of which I'm afraid to check, I felt stretched. Overall, I recommend going elsewhere, the food here is average and the prices are very high.
22/03/2024: Visited on a Sunday in Mid-March '24 as some restaurants were just closed completely for 2 weeks or closed early. The restaurant seems upscale based on their decor and their prices. The food was okay, nothing to sing praises about. Went for their Ziti with Genovese (€20) and my partner opted to go for their special of the day which was cod with baked potatoes (€30), for that price you'd think you'd at least get a decent portion; but this was tiny, 2 chunks of cod fillet with a salad and roast potatoes. Ordered their tiramisu (€10) which was nice but found it to be dry. This is another establishment that we found to be pushy about tipping. Once you ask for the bill, they come with a silver plate with a piece of paper stating 'if paying electronically, please write how much you are tipping'. We left this blank (the servers came to take our order, delivered food) and left us alone (which is ok). The server (who we didn't even encounter during our meal) highlighted this again and asked how much for the tip. We refused. The restaurant was nice and we were seated right away (it was very quiet) but the prices didn't reflect the quality of the food.
