Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso In Sorrento

Average pizza, inappropriate for the price. The dough is weak, and the pizza itself reminds me of native bread soups. Pizza from a random place for €5 is much better. Nice place, tablecloths, stylized as a serious restaurant. The restaurant is located in a pleasant corner. The service was polite, but instead of a glass or a small bottle, I was brought two 1L bottles of water, the prices of which I'm afraid to check, I felt stretched. Overall, I recommend going elsewhere, the food here is average and the prices are very high.

Visited on a Sunday in Mid-March '24 as some restaurants were just closed completely for 2 weeks or closed early. The restaurant seems upscale based on their decor and their prices. The food was okay, nothing to sing praises about. Went for their Ziti with Genovese (€20) and my partner opted to go for their special of the day which was cod with baked potatoes (€30), for that price you'd think you'd at least get a decent portion; but this was tiny, 2 chunks of cod fillet with a salad and roast potatoes. Ordered their tiramisu (€10) which was nice but found it to be dry. This is another establishment that we found to be pushy about tipping. Once you ask for the bill, they come with a silver plate with a piece of paper stating 'if paying electronically, please write how much you are tipping'. We left this blank (the servers came to take our order, delivered food) and left us alone (which is ok). The server (who we didn't even encounter during our meal) highlighted this again and asked how much for the tip. We refused. The restaurant was nice and we were seated right away (it was very quiet) but the prices didn't reflect the quality of the food.

Super delicious and reasonably priced

Nice restaurant on the pier in Sorrento. Small, but cute. The food is good, and the fish is fresh. Simple but welcoming environment. Attentive and helpful staff.

Great place, friendly waiter, very good tapas

Places brought by tour groups. The pizza is a big piece. It's seafood flavored. Simply smear tomato sauce on it, and the crust is freshly baked and very delicious. The main meal was fish, which had no fishy smell, and lettuce drizzled with olive oil. But I really miss Caesar sauce, Japanese oil and vinegar, etc.😅 Finally, I highly recommend the last cake. Five stars is not enough to express my praise for this product. Please try it. 🫡

Tutto fantastico. Solo una pecca ...la persona incaricata alla cassa non sapeva distinguere uno scontrino dotato di numero identificativo con una stampa del gestionale. Ci è voluto un po' per ottenerlo.

Locale accogliente. Personale gentile. Piatti ricercati e di buon livello nella presentazione. Ottima scelta di vini. Consigliato!

Nice space, very friendly host, good food. However, first time in all our trips to Italy that a waiter pushed us for a gratuity, before we had a chance to leave one on our own.

Gluten free pizza! Amazing customer service and attention. The Limoncillo was unexpected and lovely. Gluten free pizza bases tasted perfect. GF Peroni available Highly recommended.
