Die Locando con gli Occhi befindet sich im Zentrum des traditionsreichen Ortes Aliano, Provinz Potenza. Seit vielen Jahren speisen wir dort nach dem Einkauf des örtlichen Olivenöls Ende Dezember. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, die Bedienung durch den Wirt sehr freundlich, die Preise sind absolut ökonomisch. Jedes Jahr beeindruckt das Lokal durch den Weihnachtsschmuck des sog. Occhio, einer relativ tiefen Nische in der Rückwand, an deren Wänden zahlreiche Weinflaschen angebracht sind. In den vergangenen Jahren stand darin ein beleuchteter Christbaum, diesmal waren wir außerordentlich überrascht und beeindruckt von der schönen Krippe im Occhio. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen, nach der Besichtigung des Museo Carlo Levi und des Museo della Civiltà Contadina dort einzukehren.

Small but welcoming place in a rustic style which is always popular and in a context like Aliano it fits very well. The food was quite good but I expected better. For a place like this I expect bigger meals.

Ottima locanda tutto perfetto dal servizio al prezzo. Primi e secondi dai 6 € massimo 12 €. Personale cordiale, posto incantevole ma soprattutto cibo di ottima qualità.

Semplicità e genuinità caratterizzano la Locanda. Un piccolo ambiente dove, senza avanzare grandi pretese, è possibile gustare i menù fissi in un contesto familiare di gentilezza e disponibilità. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Sicuramente da consigliare per ritemprare le energie dopo una visita ai luoghi di interesse di Aliano.
