Great place highly recommended very welcoming you feel at home! Typical local cuisine with the flavor of the freshest sea When you pass by Mola di Bari you must also pass by Mr. Nino and his restaurant "the ministry of embers"

Niko is a wonderful host. Friendly and very polite. He made us wonderful swordfish and clams. At our request, he prepared seafood the next day. The surprise was that they were raw in a special sauce. They tasted very good. We have never eaten such miracles. The main course was pasta with shrimps in tomato sauce. Yummmmm. Fingers lickin' good. Dessert - homemade lemon sorbet - simply heavenly. 😍😍😍 We will definitely visit here again. Thank you very much for making our culinary dreams come true. See you ❤️

This place is literally legendary. From the food, to the wine, to the liqueurs, everything is of the highest quality, one of the last dinosaurs that provide the so-called "food" and "beverage" truly "made in Italy". Go there before it's too late. Don't go and study in those "gourmet" places, go where local excellence is still a real added value. I have nothing else to say. This place deserves the name it bears.

Super recommended restaurant! Excellent fresh fish and very welcoming place. We took the fixed menu with starter, first course of choice, grilled fish, sorbet, sweets and homemade digestives. Excellent value for money and the owner willing to have a chat with customers. I absolutely recommend!

While I stayed two nights in Mola, I went to this restaurant twice. The chef and proprietor Nino is such a warm and welcoming person, a real south Italian. He made every single effort to cook me the best dishes, so it felt like home in the restaurant. Grazie di cuore, Sig. Nino, Lei è grande!

Artista del fornello, solo cibo di altissima qualità a km 0! Ci torno periodicamente con grande gioia perché mi sento di essere a casa! Un grande! Nino è il NUMERO 1!

Abbiamo mangiato una lampuga cotta alla brace sui carboni (cosa già di per sé molto rara) eccezionale...cottura perfetta! Ottimo riso patate e cozze come pure le marinate. Singolare la quantità di liquori fatti in casa di tutti i tipi. Il titolare è squisitamente simpatico, persona di spessore umano e professionale di grande levatura!

Il sign.Nino è un ottimo cuoco e consigliere,hai la sensazione di stare a tra le mura di casa,tutto cucinato con amore e passione,cibo ottimo sapori di un tempo, nell'aria canzoni che ti portano indietro quando eri bambina, consiglio a tutti di sedersi e farsi consigliare da lui,alla fine viene servito come digestivo il "Ninoncello" che dire...il nome racchiude tutto! The chef Nino treated us like family. The food was amazing! Best mussels I have ever tasted!!!! The fish, the homemade tomato sauce you could eat it by it self. And to top it off…Ninoncello, best homemade lemoncello ever!!!!Best restaurant in Mola di Bari!!!! Highly recommended…

Nino mi è stato simpatico già al telefono mentre riservavo un tavolo per due e concordavo il menù per una cena romantica. Le cozze alla brace sono assolutamente da provare! Ottimi primi e generoso tagliere di salumi e formaggi di qualità. Grazie a Nino e al personale accogliente l'atmosfera della serata è stata intima e calorosa allo stesso tempo. Torneremo di sicuro!

24/03/2024: Lunch on a Sunday in March. If you get the right table there is a beautiful sea view (only a visit because the restaurant does not directly overlook the sea but the square below). The problem is getting to the right table. Even though we had arrived with the room completely empty and on the phone we had specified a table with a sea view, to our request the friendly waiter replied that first come, first served (?!) and made us sit in the corner with the sea behind us. We would later understand that it was a place full of regulars so everyone had their usual assigned seats. Okay. As for food, the menu is very varied. The usual friendly waiter, however, forces us to order everything immediately, without first perhaps taking an appetizer and a first course and then figuring out whether to take the second course. Result? We only ordered a first course and we missed them because we would have liked something else. As for the wine, we were brought a bottle with a different label from the one indicated on the menu but in this case too we were hastily told that "it's the same wine" so in this case too it's okay. The place is nice and the food isn't bad. Maybe we had a bad day.
09/03/2024: The Grotta Ardito restaurant is the perfect place if you want to dine in Polignano in peace just a short distance from the centre. Everything was delicious, especially the salmon carpaccio and the raw scampi. The value for money is excellent, the location and the view are very beautiful. Nice and friendly staff, I recommend it
