22/10/2023: A few kilometers from my city, on the Livorno hills, is the Azienda Agricola Le Arcate. The property has spectacular views of the thriving Tuscan vegetation, such as vineyards and olive groves. The restaurant, well furnished and cared for in every small aspect and detail, offers specialties of Tuscan cuisine... cold cuts, locally produced cheeses, 0 km game. On Sundays there is a fixed menu. I was able to taste a delicious appetizer with cold cuts, crostini with porcini mushrooms, tomato soup and a flan. As a first course... delicious pappardelle with hare ragout... while the second course was delicious salmied roe deer with roast potatoes. The homemade desserts are truly exquisite.
