I have been to this restaurant other times and it is right now to honor Osteria Babazuf for being an excellent restaurant that is never banal and very welcoming. If you can, don't miss it.

Questa osteria piccola offre un menù che mischia tradizione e innovazione. L'atmosfera è intima e il personale è gentile e cortese. Come ho già scritto, i piatti della tradizione toscana (e non solo) sono rivisitati in maniera molto particolare, che di certo non annoia. Io e le mie amiche siamo rimaste soddisfatte sia dei piatti (antipasti, primi e secondi buoni, il dolce al pistacchio nella media) che del vino rosé.
Prezzi in linea con il resto dei ristoranti cittadini.

We entered and there was no superior reply that they are fully booked, like a nearby place. The menu is quite diverse, many good options. We enjoyed the rabbit terrine, tortelli with sausage and figs and the roasted suckling pig. The service was very quick. Prices are mid, more or less regular. Small portions. Coperto at 3 euros, a bit high as it is easily more than 10% of the bill and you get some basic bread and parmeggiano for the pasta. Also, coperto not mentioned on the menu, which is clearly not ok.

The employees are very attentive, we asked the chef to prepare our pasta with a different sauce since we did not consume the sauces on the menu, they were helpful and provided the necessary assistance in customizing other dishes.
Food was delicious, staff was nice. We didn't like the atmosphere very much. Since we didn't have a reservation, we sat at the tables at the entrance. They don't normally accept reservations.

Osteria Babazuf in Siena is a culinary gem! I recently savored their Risotto with red turnips and taleggio, paired flawlessly with a local wine suggested by the attentive staff. The flavors danced on my palate, and the service was impeccable. A must-visit for any food enthusiast!

Love the rest that we found at random mebus in different language whis is of great help. Food was outstanding as well as service.
