excellent experience, really good dishes: the risotto alla Mantovana is served directly from the pan and there is plenty of it. Delicious asparagus pie and chocolate salami rated 10, central trattoria and excellent service with really friendly guys.

Very good tavern in the center of Mantua. Friendly staff and the dishes arrived shortly. Since it was Sunday lunch we preferred to book the day before. I particularly recommend the pumpkin pie and the butter and sage capunsei. There were 4 of us and we paid around €35 ​​each for starter, first course, wine and water

Davvero un servizio gradevole e preciso. Un luogo curato nel dettaglio, dove i camerieri accolgono il cliente nelle proprie necessità. La qualità è buona, ma onestamente i tortelli di zucca erano davvero troppo dolci, l'antipasto di affettati un po' poco vario e la sbrisolona era un po' troppo cotta. Buonissime invece le pappardelle allo stracotto di asino. Molto gradite le castagne offerte in occasione di San Martino.

Tantissimi camerieri che fanno avanti e indietro e che creano un po' di agitazione in un ambiente invece molto soft, silenzioso, raffinato e accogliente. Mangiato bene. Piatto di fegato veneziano con polenta. Prezzi alti e porzioni non da osteria.

01/04/2024: The color orange reigns supreme in this secluded place. And then photos, books, bottles and a lot of life lived! The food is a treat and the welcome is informal and polite! A beautiful discovery!
17/03/2024: I thank all the staff for their kindness and the quality of the dishes (sublime). The dishes are changed every month and this, in my opinion, is really positive because it demonstrates the great creativity that resides in this magical place. You can perceive the love for art and cooking, and this union has achieved a profound synergy, so powerful that it pervades the entire space. The location is unique and full of originality, the cuisine not only includes typical dishes (which have their own style) but also delicious dishes for celiacs and vegans, the desserts are divinely good, the prices are super fair (water wine appetizers second course = 25 approximately per person). I, beyond everything, truly found a unique, unconventional, authentic place. You may not like it, but you will certainly not be in the usual restaurant and you will certainly not taste the usual dishes. You will DEFINITELY find friendly, sincere people and a special, true taste in the choice and preparation of the dishes offered... And then there must be a reason if I have been on the market for 14 years....
