The quality is good, we found the portions really small.
However, the managers are kind and courteous.

Having stumbled upon this by chance during a Sunday trip, we discovered this tavern in San Giovanni delle Conte... I think the place is very genuine, like the dishes and the atmosphere, something that has been somewhat lost in city life. We will definitely return during the summer, to be able to enjoy their cuisine at the outdoor tables.

Excellent choice!!!! Excellent food, local, small but well-kept environment. Prices normal. Very kind staff. It feels like you're going back to a good time. I believe that in the summer, eating outdoors in the village, is something unique

My partner happened upon this tavern by chance last year during a walk in that area and wanted to take me there. We went for lunch and ate simple dishes, homemade pasta, local products, but the best thing is the importance that this restaurant has for its town. Go there, let them tell you their story, an excellent example of social mutualism.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questa osteria dopo un'escursione in zona, piatti veramente casalinghi, personale cortese, spettacolare la cuoca che passa fra i tavoli per chiedere se tutto ok. Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, ottima qualità/prezzo.

Für ein Abendessen besuchten wir die Osteria Maccale und fanden es sehr sehr gut. Tolle Speiseauswahl, fantastische Küche, gute Weine und ausserordentlich freundlicher und liebenswerter Service.
