Excellent home cooking, small but particular environment

04-09-2023 You can't book, we came by at 8.20am and didn't wait very long. Found a table for us and placed our order. The wait for the appetizers was really hard also because it was an appetizer in oil and a seafood appetizer. Dishes that should already be ready. But patience, I swear, was put to the test with the first one. Arrived at 10pm. The first was troccoli a i seafood. I have to say that they were so good that I forgave the very lateness. Finally, a sweet semifreddo with chocolate and pastry rum. Very good. The place is very nice but the service is unfortunately very slow. Even if I saw the waiters they ran like crazy. Maybe a problem in the kitchen. Anyway I have to say really good food. Too bad the times. But I shouldn't complain because I'm on holiday with them at work. ... 30-10-2023 I had given an honest and consistent review of the Il Saraceno Restaurant. Saying that the food was superb, the venue very nice but the service a disaster. I went back two more times for the great food. Having solved the problems in the kitchen, as far as I'm concerned they earned the maximum stars. Excellent cuisine, beautiful place and good service although it could still be improved. The owner very kind and nice. Get advice from him on what to eat.

Delicious food in a nice place with great service. Not the fastest, but the price/quality is more than good. Highly recommended!!!! Would go there again, but unfortunately it was our last day of holiday.

We spent whole week in Mattinata and this is definetly the best place in whole region! The owner is very kind and helpful, we appreciate the speed and atitude, despite we didn't make reservation in advance! The food was very tasty - we tried not only perfect different Pizza's, but fresh perfect fish and dessert! Definetly recommended.

Sono stato a cena per assaggiare la pizza, e lo trovata ottima sia per l'impasto che per la farcitura, ottimi anche gli affettati e il caciocavallo, il servizio è gentile e disponibile. Unica cosa che purtroppo i tempi sono lunghi per essere serviti, molto probabilmente il fatto di avere anche le pizze d'asporto penalizza il servizio ai tavoli. Per quanto riguarda la location è originale con i tavoli nelle vie, consigliato.

Our intent was to have a simple light meal after multiple consecutive nights of dining treats. And that we did, with a shared prosciutto e melon, and individual pizzas of onion and of mushrooms, washed down with a carafe of red wine. All delicious and more than we could finish. But the highlight of the evening was meeting a delightful couple from the U,S. on a work assignment who introduced us to "Autumn's Pizza" AND then picked up our tab! Too kind and we can only hope they read this review and can contact us through Trip Advisor so we can reciprocate should they visit Maine!

5 stars would be too few to rate our experience! Everything truly impeccable... quality of the raw materials, excellent presentation on the plate, excellent service... practically perfect

Abbiamo preso un paio di pizze e per la prima abbiamo dovuto aspettare parecchio ma poiché erano squisite lo perdoniamo per i tempi di attesa.

Sehr lecker und auch preislich echt gut kann ich nur empfehlen sehr netter Service der Teig der Pizzen war total kross gewesen,der Hauswein war sehr lecker und die Vorspeise mit ordentlich Oliven dabei
