The food was good and we enjoyed the starters as well as a testy and soft pizza. The service was good, fast and professional.

We arrived without a reservation, we were passing through because we had a show at the theater (Saturday 20th). However, they found us a place, kind girls, fast and precise service. My husband had a pizza and I had a focaccia...wow!! Beautiful and good! Really satisfied! The coffee is good too!!! Advised!!! (Better to book)

Posizione ottima in centro, zona pedonale. Personale gentile. Birra buona. Pizza con impasto decente, ma condimento.... Questo sarebbe gourmet? 5 olive ammucchiate? Forse non avete le idee chiare ragazzi. Si mangia per carità, ma le aspettative.... Non createle. Prezzo sconsiderato, alto alto.

19/01/2024: Small but very nice and welcoming environment with kind and attentive staff. Excellent quality-price relation. In a strategic position to reach the cultural hubs of the city such as the Pacini theater and the Poma Foundation
20/12/2023: An eclectic venue, it is well suited for breakfasts, lunches, aperitifs and themed evenings. The strong point are the exclusively Tuscan cured meats and cheeses The staff were very kind and if Gino wasn't there he would have to be invented. Highly recommended.

Al Portico

27/02/2024: Traditional Tuscan restaurant. Good service, average wait. Delicious anduja and buffalo pizza. Good quality beer. Professional staff. I will definitely return
03/12/2023: It's my historic restaurant. I've been going there practically for over 30 years. When it was on Via Empolese it was called Trattoria da Osvaldo, and I remember that it was an obligatory destination for truck drivers. With this I'll let you imagine the type of cuisine and the quality/quantity of the portions, basically what perfectly embodies the phrase "typical Tuscan cuisine". The ragù has now become a "must" also for my children who I bring there periodically. Fundamentally simple dishes but like grandmothers made them on Sunday lunch. They also make delicious pizzas for takeaway too. There is no world without Il Portico!
