The servers were nice, the pizza we ordered to take away was prepared quickly and was very delicious. We were in town for two days and ate here both days. We were very satisfied!

We have eaten here 3 times during our stay in the Porta Romana neighborhood. The staff is friendly, service is outstanding and the food is delicious. We loved the pizzas, even the gluten free crust, and the pasta was delicious, too, especially the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu. This was the best dining experience we have had in Italy, and I wish we could have eaten all of our meals here. Truly an amazing experience.

Aufgrund guter Bewertungen sind wir in dieses Restaurant gegangen und waren mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden! Der Service war familiär und freundlich. Die zubereiteten Speisen und das Brot waren ausgezeichnet. Wir bestellen in Florenz sehr gerne die Bistecca Fiorentina und hier wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Zudem ist das Fleisch deutlich günstiger als im Zentrum. Wir werden hier sicher wieder einkehren.

Porta Romana is a casual styled restaurant but with very high standards. The food and wine offered are exciting. The croquettes, tasting board, pizzas, beef cheeks and white fish are all excellent . More sauces and vegetables with the last two, please. The restaurant is large with three dining rooms but the polite , helpful, knowledgeable staff move quickly. Wonderful range of wines at pleasing prices. €7 for .4 litre beer and €10 for a whiskey are excessive. 1.5km South of the river and a must visit.

Osteria Cavolo Nero

07/04/2024: We were on Friday for lunch in this fantastic place which is the Osteria Cavolo Nero, a truly pleasant discovery. All dishes are freshly prepared, in fact the quality of the dishes is high. The only flaw... just to be picky... is the quantity of food on the plates... being from the south my eyes shine when they bring me a large plate of pasta.
31/03/2024: We came across this place by chance during a quick stopover in Empoli. The restaurant not only has a small front garden in the pedestrian zone, but is also very nicely designed inside. The Vino della Casa tasted very good in both red and white. She really liked the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and zucchini that my wife had, and my cod on mashed potatoes was also excellent. Unfortunately we couldn't use the front garden due to the temperatures outside, but from spring to autumn it's certainly an additional, great asset.

Atrium bar

14/03/2024: Personally, I have all my meetings in this bar in Florence where everything is luxury, calm and voluptuousness. Even if it is located 1,300 kilometers from my home and it takes me about three days to get there by scooter, it is always a pleasure to enjoy a good glass of Chardonnay accompanied by a stretto espresso on arrival. Vittorio is a charming boy and thanks to the magic of the place, I obtain wonderful contracts from my interlocutors (generally publishers or carpet dealers; people who really don't differ much, you would be surprised). You will say: but what a snob, why not meet people in any restaurant in Chatelleraudais? Well, Bobby will tell you that the answer is in your question. And then Firenze is Firenze...
14/01/2024: I had an excellent quality afternoon tea. I really appreciated the complimentary water. Very nice hotel for different occasions and also for Florentines. The music is a little loud and perhaps out of tune with the style. The service is quick with very kind staff who are always running around and are a bit distracting. However, a very high level
