Pummarò In Pienza

Spectacular!! Look, I've tried good pizzas but the one we ordered surprised me!! We ordered the Campagnola, 100% recommended!!

We were leaving Pienza towards our accommodation in another town where at night there was no option to dine there, we saw this pizzeria open and grabbed some pizzas to take away. The place was completely empty since they had just opened, they treated us very kindly, we went with our goddaughter and the owner gave her a pasta while she waited, the service was very fast and the pizzas were good, the price for the quality of the pizzas was very adjusted too. To say the least, I like them a little thinner in the dough, but the pizzas were good, it's more a matter of individual tastes. Unfortunately, due to a technical problem, I have lost the photos of the pizzas, only the ones I took from the premises, very well decorated and functional, were saved. Recommended if you are in Pienza.

Very tasty pizza, friendly service and on the table quickly. A bit pricey for pizza, but we were well fed with one pizza for two people. That wasn't a problem for the service either. They delivered two half pizzas on two plates.

Der Teig der Pizza ist fluffig aber auch sehr kompakt. Die meisten Pizzen werden ohne Tomatensoße hergestellt. Meine Calzone war zu 50% direkt Teig und dann der Rest viel Mozzarella und toskanische Wurst. Schlecht verteilt. Ich fand es etwas fehlende Einfallsreichtum bei der Präsentation / Erstellung.

Ci sono stato una volta a mangiare in compagnia e mi sono trovato bene. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze, una 'cacio e pepe' e una fantasia, con scelte personali. Entrambe buone ma non squisite. Le pizze sono in stile "Napoletano", e di ottimo impasto. Non spiccano, invece, di sapori. Quella cacio e pepe un po' di più, ma l'altra, avendo anche un salume sopra, rimaneva abbastanza anonima. Stando ai prezzi, posso dire che sono abbastanza turistici. Più di 10€ a pizza. Il servizio è stato velocissimo e il personale era cordiale. Il posto è carino e piccolo. Presenta tavoli sia fuori che dentro. Si trova a pocchissimi passi dal centro storico della stupenda Pienza, cioè subito dopo l'ingresso principale del borgo.
