An enchanting and magical place at 2300 meters ❤️🚠🗻❄️ that exudes freedom and peace. I was skiing in the Tofane and stopped in this hut for lunch. A delightful place where I recommend eating outdoors with this wonderful view of the majestic Dolomites. I took the house dish, Punta Anna dish, in honor of a mountain, an encore of delicious first courses served by very kind and courteous people who will make your break a delight. The air is very clean and fresh and there is calm and passion in the welcome and in the food. I saw the dishes on the nearby tables and they were really inviting! The obviously wooden shelter was built by a founder of the Cortina squirrel club in 1956, Luigi Ghedina known as Bibi. The place exudes the sweetness and strength of the tradition handed down by grandfather Bibi. For mountain lovers, the refuge also has rooms for the night! Really congratulations guys! I could have stayed there for hours!

Maybe the best place to stay around Cortina! I had been coming to their restaurant and bar for a few years already since they are just below a beautiful via ferrata, and I always wanted to stay the night there since the views are amazing and the mountain hut itself is beautiful as well. Last summer I finally booked 3 nights to stay with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed. We had a beautiful room with a great view, very good food and the service and atmosphere was great as well! It is a family business so they really try to make you feel at home. Aaron especially is a really nice guy and good with his languages as well! I saw some reviews about the refugio of people saying that this place is too expensive, but they seem to be forgetting that they are in Cortina! 😅 Everything is more expensive there, but I really don't think this mountain hut is overpriced! It's even a lot cheaper than what you would pay at many other places in the alps, and dont forget that they have to haul everything up the mountain since they are already above the treeline, so all the food is prepared fresh. Overall we had a great stay, and for anyone who looks for a basecamp to attack the mountains around it, or just wants to stay in a beautiful place for a few days, this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed. 😁 Next time I would love to stay over in the winter to enjoy the skiing!

Il rifugio Pomedes a Cortina d'Ampezzo è davvero un luogo magico che ho avuto il privilegio di scoprire. Il panorama è semplicemente mozzafiato, regalando una vista che tocca il cuore. La cucina è un vero tripudio per il palato, ogni piatto è un'opera d'arte culinaria. La cioccolata calda, poi, è tra le più deliziose che abbia mai assaporato in un rifugio di montagna. Ma ciò che rende l'esperienza completa è il servizio cortese e attento, che ti fa sentire come a casa. Consiglio vivamente questo rifugio a chiunque cerchi un connubio perfetto tra paesaggio spettacolare e una cucina straordinaria.

Dal Rifugio Dibona nel Valon de Tofana, con una sgambata fuori programma, passando sotto Punta Anna col sentiero CAI 421 abbiamo raggiunto il Rifugio Pomedes, ove abbiamo sostato brevemente e osservato gli omonimi torrioni. Il rifugio è accogliente e ben gestito e di tanto in tanto ci torniamo volentieri anche per le magnifiche vedute che si hanno da quassù. (*visitato 1 settembre 2023*)

Il rifugio con la vista più spettacolare della tofana. Ottimo cibo e qualità dei servizi. Il mio preferito!
