Pleasant discovery after years of visiting S. Gimignano. The place (not the location that I hate as an English-speaking term) is perfect, away from the tourist crowd but still in the historic center, to the left of the church, run by young guys. Be careful, you don't eat cooked food, but only high quality cold cuts and excellent tartare (it's a butcher's shop and therefore the meat is good), I tried the selection of cured meats for one person which was plentiful so much so that we ate it between two and then a classic tartare, both dishes worth 10. To drink a bottle of Sangiovese (14.5 degrees) which is also good (among other things the owner took care to ask first how much was the price range I wanted to spend for wine as there is no dedicated list). Finally they offered us coffee. I don't know if they had desserts... However, based on my forty years of experience in restaurants, I obviously recommend it if you like raw, sliced ​​or cheese. Don't look for cooked dishes that aren't there.

I had been to this butcher's shop exactly one year ago and I wanted to return to taste those delicious flavors again in a square a little away from the more "touristy" streets. I highly recommend it both for the selection of cheeses and cured meats and for the excellent trio of tartare. Very accurate service, where you felt truly welcomed and pampered. Good guys .
