Ristorante Albergo 'l Bunet In Bergolo

We stayed just a weekend. Great hospitality, nice host. Basic rooms but clean. I recommend the family room, pratically an apartment, in the front building of the restaurant. Very good restaurant and tasty food (price accordingly). In that way, in my opinion, breakfast could be richer in salty products. Position looked like fine but roads from&to the most known towns of the Langhe aren't comfortable. My mistake.

Piccolo paese nell'alta langa. Il titolare si rende disponibile a riceverci alle 19.30 anche se apre alle 20.00. Gentile e cortese, in una serata fuori stagione, conferma il meu completo e si rende disponibile per qualsiasi scelta. Ci porta un mix di pane e grissini buonissimi: sembrano appena fatti. Come cena optiamo per risotto per due e una pasta al sugo di salsiccia. Ambedue i piatti ottimi. I secondi sono altrettanto validi (maiale in crosta di nocciole e medaglione di filetto di maiale) così come il Dolcetto locale ad accompagnare le carni. Da sottolineare la cortesia del titolare e della famiglia. Una ottima scelta se siete in zona.

The welcome is exceptional, managed by the owner Emilio and his magnificent family. The structure is located right in the heart of the small village of Bergolo, a pearl in the upper Langa where art, history and nature blend in the streets of the centre. At Il Bunet you can find tradition, research into raw materials and extraordinary innovation in the dishes. Furthermore, the restaurant has been recently renovated with a new look, magnificent windows overlooking the valley and elegant lighting that creates an elegant and sophisticated environment. The dishes are SPACE, the menu is recommended which allows you to wander between the various courses, and taste every single delicacy. The menu is always seasonal and follows what nature commands and the quality is found throughout the dishes. Last but not least, the courtesy of Emilio, the owner, is truly unparalleled in welcoming you, advising you on dishes and accompanying wines as well as directing you, when requested, to visit wineries, producers, relais and villages in the area. We will be back soon with pleasure!

Sono tornato con mia moglie presso questa struttura ricevuta nel borgo incantato di Bergolo. Riesce ogni volta a stupirci. L'accoglienza è eccezionale, gestita dal titolare Emilio e dalla sua magnifica famiglia. La struttura su trova proprio nel cuore del piccolo borgo di Bergolo,una perla in alta Langa dove arte, storia e natura si miscelato nelle vie del centro. A Il Bunet si trova tradizione, ricerca delle materie prime e innovazione straordinaria nei piatti. Inoltre il ristorante è stato recentemente ristrutturato con una nuova veste, delle magnifiche vetrate sulla vallata e una illuminazione elegante che crea un ambiente elegante e sofisticato. I piatti sono SPAZIALI, consigliato il menù che vi permette di spaziare tra le varie portate, e degustare ogni singola prelibatezza. Il menù è sempre stagionale e segue ciò che natura comanda e la qualità si ritrova tutta nei piatti. Ultimo,ma non ultimo la cortesia di Emilio,il titolare, è veramente impareggiabile nell'accoglierti,consigliarti sui piatti e i vini da accompagnamento oltre che indirizzarti,quando richiesto, nella visita di cantine, produttori, relais e borghi della zona. Torneremo presto con piacere!

We spent a very short weekend in this splendid village, the pearl of Piedmont, welcomed splendidly by Mr. Emilio and his "family". The dinner was excellent, especially the white truffle taiarin, all accompanied by a sensational Barolo! The restaurant room is very nice and well furnished and during the day you can certainly enjoy an excellent view from there. Regarding the rooms, I would only have one point to make about the temperature of the bathroom which, not being equipped with a radiator or heated towel rail, I found too cold to my taste in this season but overall the mini stay was greatly appreciated and we will recommend it!

Don't expect a luxury hotel but the food is excellent, the drinks are better and the owner is a kind and friendly person
