I was a little disappointed with both the dirty bathrooms and the place not being kept very well. I say this because you pay for entry and therefore it should be more looked after

‘Hidden Gem’ - birding is fab here - we watched a Spoonbill furiously trotting and feeding through the lagoon amongst the flamingos and shrikes and reed warblers and lapwing. Gorgeous trek on the coastal path amongst fields of orchid and wild fennel and miniature iris. We ended with a swim at Calamosca beach - 15 minutes in very invigorating sea. Fascinating stop at an ancient tuna plant. A glorious escape from busy sightseeing. If you go here and are caught short needing a ‘comfort break’ please consider where you put your dirty paper - it’s not nice to see it on the path!

It's always magic every time I return. Peace, relaxation, uncontaminated nature, clean beach and crystal clear water. The tuna fishery, the species of birds and the paths to follow are fascinating.

The reserve is well kept, clean and with splendid beaches that can be enjoyed while respecting the flora and fauna (some sections are closed to allow the turtles to lay their eggs)

Beautiful !
Walk in the beautiful nature reserve of “VENDICARI”, sun, blue sea, fauna, flora, hiking trails and its ancient Tonnara, all the ingredients for a magnificent walk. Note the cleanliness and order in the reserve, this is not always the case in Sicily.

Stupendous, it's a paradise, a walk in nature observing the fauna from the observation points, then you arrive at the Tonnara and you can also visit the museum.

Il parcheggio polveroso è costato 5 € e ci hanno offerto una bottiglietta d'acqua. Si deve fare un breve percorso a piedi per raggiungere l'entrata (3.50€ a persona, si paga solo con la carta) Carina la postazione di birdwatching, anche se continuando il percorso i fenicotteri si vedeno meglio.
Peccato per la mancanza di servizi, come per esempio delle doccette.
I bagni chimici .... bhè non li recensisco...
