06/04/2024: We specifically went to this restaurant, with a very basic location, given the excellent reviews. The mussel appetizer, bread and oil are excellent, as is the pasta with anchovies. The grilled swordfish was rubbery instead, perhaps a poor-quality frozen product? The fennel salad wasn't the best either, the outermost fibrous part was used. To top it off, the coca zero had expired about a week ago (to be consumed preferably by 03.27.2024). The crumb container is a little dirty. Price range around €30-40 p.p. Welcoming and helpful staff!

01/04/2024: I don't usually do reviews, but this place deserves to be mentioned. Superlative cuisine, extremely fresh fish, exceptional hospitality and flavors that leave you speechless. Absolutely worth trying.

04/04/2024: Overall, we had an OK (on the level of a Michelin star restaurant) experience at this restaurant. We had the meat 5-course tasting menu. The first amuse bouche was excellent: a “fake” oliver with lots of aromas inside. The following two dishes (egg with truffle, artichoke) were nothing special and even lacked some flavour. The Primo pasta dish was very good, as well as the Secondo main dish, although not much can go wrong with the goulash-type of sauce for this kind of dish. The dessert, cannoli with ice cream, was very good but again, lacked a bit of creativity for a michelin star restaurant.The service was so-so: they first couldnt find our reservation and had to spell out the name twice; they seem to have never heard of sharing one wine pairing menu with two (1/2 a glass each), as we are moderate drinkers, which is very common for this level of restaurants; and at the end they forgot to pass by to ask if we wanted any coffee or tea, so we just paid and left.

03/04/2024: Amy wife and I went on the off season so it was easy to get a mid-week table. The food was traditional Sicilian food done to an exceptional level with a bit of theatre built in. The service was great. The atmosphere was very pleasant especially for privacy, I have marked it down purely on personal preference for a more active environment.

26/11/2023: Ottimo ristorante con cucina siciliana. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Si tratta di un ristorante elegante con arredamento leggermente anonimo (se si guarda solo quello si potrebbe pensare di essere in un locale di Roma o di Milano) ma all'interno di un palazzo stupendo... Se siete nella sala in fondo guardate in alto. Personale molto gentile. Prezzi non proprio bassi ma assolutamente giustificati. Consigliato.

27/10/2023: My wife and chose to eat inside, in what proved to be a lovely calm space. The service was excellent and the food beautifully prepared and presented. My seared Tuna steak was just as it should be.

09/01/2024: Very nice location to stay. Beautiful area and good views from the rooftop sitting area. Nice rooms and an excellent breakfast with very, very good coffee!! Great stay!

08/11/2023: Stayed in this farmhouse for 4 days the first week of October 2023 with a couple of friends. Quiet place in lovely location. Strategic for visiting the Vendicari reserve, the wonderful Noto, Ragusa, Modica, Porto Palo, Isola delle Current... Wonderful places. The owner and all the staff proved to be attentive and thoughtful, a plentiful and varied breakfast, a restaurant with very well-prepared and high-quality proposals for both fish and meat dishes. We will certainly be back!

26/03/2024: Nice atmosphere, many local people here. Food was delicious and service was good. I recommend this place. My pasta with pesto and salsiccia was delicious and the portion size is generous. Grazie mille!

06/04/2024: I love this place. It's like grandma or some other family member is in the kitchen making me dinner. We picked it because it wasn't in the heart of town and had good reviews. We were not disappointed. The starter was incredible, the pasta was delicious. Just like home made which I do not say lightly. The service was attentive at all times. I highly recommend. Oh and the coffee was fantastic!

26/03/2024: The very kind staff unfortunately my Beccafico sardines were cold from the fridge, the quality of the food was very good but perhaps there was a lack of attention to small details, I had to send it back to be reheated, in the caponata there were a lot of carrots, it will be for my ignorance since the caponata I tasted in Sicily were always with aubergines and other vegetables, never with carrots, in the end the dinner did not live up to expectations.

07/04/2024: Excellent address. Very well received and advised by the owner, an authentic ray of sunshine. The cuisine is excellent, tasty, rich, plentiful. Best caponata of the stay.
