Teatro Bistro & Wine Bar In Portoferraio

We ate several times in this little restaurant in the center of Portoferraio both with my husband, I and our 2 and a half year old daughter and with friends who came to visit us. I must say that the particular tastes and authentic flavors pleased everyone, including our little daughter who devoured the delicious homemade pasta with croaker sauce. Antonio and Fiona will make you feel at home and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and enjoy the wonderful view that can be admired from the Bistrò terrace.

We were greeted very friendly at the Teatro Bistro & Wine Bar without a reservation and were able to choose between the terrace and the large space under the plane trees opposite... We were spoiled with excellent food, fantastic fish specialties, home-made pasta, good meat dishes and excellent desserts! Thanks for the top service! We'd love to come back!!

Nice atmosphere on the square with a view of Portoferraio

Dit restaurant staat in de top 10 bij TA, dus we hadden er zin in. Het is prachtig gelegen en als je op het buitenterras zit, zit je heerlijk onder de bomen met uitzicht op zee en de sterrenhemel. Ons voorgerecht ging een beetje mis, de tonijntartaar zat onder de pezen en een deel was dus niet te eten. Daarnaast zat er een zurige saus bij en dat stond niet op de kaart. Deze smaak ligt ons niet, maar dat is persoonlijk. De eigenaresse gaf aan dat de tonijn inderdaad niet goed was en bood aan om deze van de rekening te halen. Dat iets niet goed is en toch de keuken uitglipt, kan altijd gebeuren, maar als het zo opgelost wordt, doe je het nog steeds heel goed! 👍 De hoofdgerechten waren uitstekend, hetgeen de top 10 klassering rechtvaardigt. Ik had wederom tonijn, deze keer filet met pistachio crust, dit gerecht was subliem! Bediening was vriendelijk en attent, zeker ook gezien de perikelen rondom het voorgerecht! Zeker het bezoeken waard! 😁

Nice restaurant with a great ambience - good dishes and fair price/performance ratio

We stopped by spontaneously at lunchtime and stopped in. The service was very friendly, the menu had a very good selection and the view over the city is very nice. Both meals were very, very good🤤

Locale nel centro di Portoferraio, dispone di diversi tavoli sulla piazzetta con una bella vista sulla città è un piccolo balconcino. Ci sono anche dei tavoli interni, ma li sconsigliamo. Abbiamo provato diversi piatti, tra antipasti e primi a base di pesce, tutti si sono rivelati ben presentati e gustosi. Le porzioni dei primi sono piuttosto abbondanti. Il servizio al tavolo con il locale pieno era un po’ in difficoltà, tempi di attesa tra una portata e l’altra un po’ lunghi.
