02/04/2024: We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was a great experience. The hotel is very comfortable, the restaurant has a beautiful view and we had the experience of dining with the fireplace next to the snow. The staff and management are very friendly and courteous. There are some things that could be improved. The reception was closed at night, there was no contact to call in case of need (which we had because the child was ill one night and we didn't know who to turn to); the cleanliness of the room deserved more careful attention. The swimming pool was out of use although it was not reported at the time of booking (for us it was an important element because we needed it to entertain the child). The people who had to be qualified to spend time with the children should have done only that and not deal with other aspects within the hotel. Overall a nice holiday

10/02/2024: If there is an excellence in Sestriere it is the name Hotel Shackleton. We spent 5 days in perfect harmony with the structure managed with love by Davide and Elena who graciously accommodated our every request. Hyper-comfortable rooms equipped with every comfort with a significant living space. High quality food served with extreme kindness and care. Structure very close to the center and the slopes equipped with every comfort including a garage for the car, very useful during snowfalls. Davide, a great ski instructor, has made it possible with his lessons to live the sporting experience in close contact with a wonderfully imposing nature. Note of merit for the staff characterized by kindness and competence. Highly recommended. We'll see you again soon. Big regards Ernesto and Claudia
