The excellent food almost becomes a side dish thanks to the welcome and family atmosphere that the innkeeper manages to create.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the tradition of the Alta Langa, we will definitely be back!

Experience!! Invited by our neighbors, 10 of us dined at “Da Maria”. Maria is an 86 year old lady who runs the kitchen. From the first to the last dish it was a party. The food combined with the lovely people is an experience not to be missed.

As always, a unique experience 🥰 hospitality, warmth, quality of the raw materials make this restaurant a real pearl. The dishes expertly cooked by Maria release all the love and passion for cooking, that of the past, simple but capable of exciting.

A place from times gone by...the stove that welcomes you, the open kitchen with the preparations on the table...grandmother Maria at the stove...tables prepared with antique canvas tablecloths...and napkins with cross-stitch embroidery
And what to say about the food... there are no words roundup of starters... rigorously homemade tajarin plin simply divine... and don't forget the cugna'... delicious desserts hazelnut cake bonet hazelnuts with crunchy chocolate.. .
They make you feel at home...

The most authentic piemontese dinner ever!
The great experience already started when I called from Germany to make reservations: Although the restaurant is normally closed on Mondays, the lovely ladies agreed to open only for our small group (and the dog - they love dogs ;)).
Then, yesterday, we found the restaurant after a short search in the small village of Levice and were greeted with the warmest hospitality.
The 85-year-old mother prepared a 10-course menu for us, one course as delicious as the other. Her daughter served us in the most perfect way in a great authentic atmosphere: Carne cruda, terrine con pollo e prosciutto (hardly ever found anywhere in Piemdmont!), melanzane, crespelle con formaggi, tajarin, agnolotti al plin, brasato, home made mostarda with cheese and dolci - all the great typical things. It was simply perfect! Even our friends that have been living here for more than 20 years were delighted. We will certainly not eat anything for the next couple of days but it was definitely worth it. We`ll be back!

Da anni punto fisso, partire da Alba per mangiare da Maria vale il viaggio e il paesaggio.
Menu impeccabile come a casa.

A sensational evening! You have to let us know in advance (by phone or on site) that you want to come. (Probably only possible on weekends. Spontaneous is not possible.) But then Grandma Maria (?) and her daughter cook up! 10 courses plus cheese and espresso. Best authentic cuisine! Great personal atmosphere! Rarely eaten so well!

Siamo capitati per caso e siamo stati fortunati ma meglio prenotare con un po di anticipo. Il posto è estremamente e meravigliosamente famigliare, a partire da dove è ubicato, alle proprietarie, al cibo. Quest'ultimo merita una menzion d'onore, merito delle cuoche, semplice e squisito, tutto ciò che ci si deve aspettare da un ristorante come si deve! Prezzo giusto per le quantità e la bontà di quanto proposto. Menù fisso, cucina locale. Ottima accoglienza. Torneremo senz'altro!
