Rustic but authentic trattoria, in the heart of Catania. I ate some excellent linguine with sardines which I absolutely recommend. Friendly staff. Honest prices.

I had vongole and seafood risotto. And half a glass of white wine. The risotto was delicious. Vongole is delicious but a little hard al dente. Wine is good. The clerk is no good. I feel sick even though I've spent so much time cooking. 32 euros

The restaurant has a perfect location in the city center just on the corner with the seafood market. The restaurant focuses on the local Sicilian fare. But the quality is variable. My caponata and Paste alle Sarde Siciliana were delicious while my friend's Pasta Bolognes total disaster tasteless and hard to find the meat. The prices are great but the size of the portions is smaller than in other restaurants. The waiter was strange, without any interest and friendliness, rather distant.

La trattoria si trova dentro al mercato del pesce di Catania, infatti la mattina, al posto dei tavoli, ci sono i banchidi vendita del pesce. Si mangia molto bene, i prezzi sono più che onesti e il personale è cordiale. Da consigliare sicuramente.
