Vecchia Hosteria Del Lago In Penne

Located in Penne, Abruzzo, next to Lago di Penne it has a beautiful setting when the lake is full and the Gran Sasso has snow. Overall the food is good, especially their meat , Lamb, mutton and veal. Their service is above average and their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend a visit at least.

Although the location on the lake is pleasant, the place seems unfrequented at least on a weekday. So the environment is not particularly "warm" despite the pleasant service. The furniture is simple and the place is clean. The roasts are good

Eravamo stati a fare un giro in montagna vicino penne . Tornando avevamo deciso di fermarci nella prima trattoria osteria che capitava .. ci siamo imbattuti in questa osteria dove abbiamo mangiato decisamente bene . Ottimo cibo e ottima accoglienza. Consigliatissimo .

Locale datato ma accogliente con vista sul lago e veranda estiva. Menù tradizionale con scelte multiple. Bruschette semplici ma gustose. Carni (braciole di agnello e suino, arrostici) buone. Servizio cortese. Rapporto qualità / prezzo ottimo.

Solid, dependable local spot. Next to the lake. Outside is a little tired but in a charming, well lived in way. Decent pasta, ravioli very tasty ragu a little to tomatoey for my liking. Fettuccine boscaiola stood out, as did the beef steak. Very good value, will definitely be back regularly when in the area. Waiting staff slightly stretched. Friendly Atmosphere
