Beautiful little place with sea view. The owner very kind and friendly. Delicious food! We enjoyed several dishes and they were delicious! I highly recommend!

About 40 minutes by train south of Baria is Polignano a Mare. Divine views. Trattoria Zanzi is also here. The food is as divine as the views here.

After visiting Polignano a mare, I go to have lunch in this restaurant, excellent food, the service a little less, after having had the starter for 2 we decide for a first course to be divided between 2, tagliolini with seafood, delicious, too bad that I had to eat them on the same plate as the starter, a little more attention to the service wouldn't hurt

Fantastic experience!! I was speechless after tasting the two first courses (orecchiette and tagliolini). Never eaten two first courses like this!! Small location, but clean and well decorated. Excellent service, the gentleman is very sociable and polite! Highly recommended! Then in front of the sea everything is more beautiful!! P.S. In summer I recommend booking! Don't miss this fantastic experience

We visited Polignano in Nov'23 and found this Osteria during a walk along the sea. Perfect place for a meal - real italian meals. Small restaurant but worth eating there. Must remember to adjust to italian style of service - not quick and imediate but ok. See view bueautiful.

Food was very good and place is nice and clean. Position is spectacular and it is a restaurant where you don’t have to eat panini. The best grilled octopus I have eaten in Italy.

Hier muss man nicht hin. War jetzt eigentlich auch keine 3 Sterne wert. 2 Mini Oktopus mit Rucola und kleinen Tomaten und roten Zwiebeln auf den Teller trapiert mit wenig Geschmack. Hat wenig mit italienischer Küche zu tun. Sollte eigentlich Oktopus nach galizischer Art sein, was aber ehrlicherweise was ganz anderes ist. Es sollten Tropea Zwiebeln dabei sein, was aber einfach nur rote Zwiebeln waren und nichts anderes. Die Beilagen kamen als wir mit dem Hauptgang fertig waren. Der weiße Hauswein war ok. Keine Empfehlung daher.

24/03/2024: Lunch on a Sunday in March. If you get the right table there is a beautiful sea view (only a visit because the restaurant does not directly overlook the sea but the square below). The problem is getting to the right table. Even though we had arrived with the room completely empty and on the phone we had specified a table with a sea view, to our request the friendly waiter replied that first come, first served (?!) and made us sit in the corner with the sea behind us. We would later understand that it was a place full of regulars so everyone had their usual assigned seats. Okay. As for food, the menu is very varied. The usual friendly waiter, however, forces us to order everything immediately, without first perhaps taking an appetizer and a first course and then figuring out whether to take the second course. Result? We only ordered a first course and we missed them because we would have liked something else. As for the wine, we were brought a bottle with a different label from the one indicated on the menu but in this case too we were hastily told that "it's the same wine" so in this case too it's okay. The place is nice and the food isn't bad. Maybe we had a bad day.
09/03/2024: The Grotta Ardito restaurant is the perfect place if you want to dine in Polignano in peace just a short distance from the centre. Everything was delicious, especially the salmon carpaccio and the raw scampi. The value for money is excellent, the location and the view are very beautiful. Nice and friendly staff, I recommend it
