05/05/2024: I had the pleasure of dining with a group of 11 friends at the restaurant during a weekend in the beautiful city of Perugia. From the first moment, we were struck by the unique atmosphere of the place. The furnishings are studied down to the smallest details and are full of black and white photos that tell the story of Perugia over the years. A real journey through time that immersed us in local culture and tradition. We agreed on a fixed menu at €30 per person, which included an appetizer, a first course, a second course, two bottles of red wine and two bottles of water. The starter was a mixture of cured meats and cheeses of excellent quality and freshness. As a first course, we enjoyed some delicious smoked paccheri, i.e. blended with vodka, cream, tomato and chopped bacon. A tasty and rich dish, which managed to conquer our palates. The second course was based on pork chops with apple, honey and mustard. The meat was tender and juicy, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the apple and the spicy note of the mustard. To conclude on a high note, we ordered a homemade tiramisu, creamy and with an authentic flavor which was rightly not included in the initially agreed price. A real touch of class that made our dinner truly special. In addition to the fixed menu, we also ordered more wine, water and a dessert each. The final bill was more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food and service. The staff at Storie Perugine were friendly and attentive to our needs, always ready to advise us and satisfy our every request.

01/10/2023: Absolutely rude, especially the lady at the counter, with short wavy hair with a tribal tattoo on her left arm and a treble clef on the left side of her neck. She also allowed herself to throw the sachets and change on the counter. Never again.

24/07/2023: The restaurant has moved to Villa Elena and finally the location 100% reflects Marco's talent in the kitchen and Andrea's impeccable service in the dining room. Going there is always a dream and in my opinion it far surpasses more famous restaurants.

06/03/2024: A restaurant offering unusual dishes inspired by Japanese cuisine. We had lunch here a few years ago and remembered that they had typical Italian dishes. Since we were staying in the same hotel this time, I reserved a table without looking at the website first. We were surprised to find chopsticks instead of cutlery on the table. We then found many varieties of sushi on the menu that you would otherwise not find or very rarely find in typical Japanese restaurants. Also unusual: wasabi was grated fresh at the table, something I've never seen before in Europe. Before the meal, an extensive amuse gueule was served, which consisted of three different small dishes and in addition to the dessert we ordered, there was a "candy floss tree" with several sweets underneath. Overall, however, we found the prices to be too high and the dining room to be too loud.

22/02/2024: The best restaurant in Montone! The food is delicious and presented beautifully. The staff are friendly and very helpful, plus the location is simply breathtaking. I visit regularly when I am in Umbria. Thank you Erba Luna!

01/11/2023: Il locale è carino ma il servizio pessimo. Abbiamo aspettato circa un’ora per l’arrivo dei primi. Una delusione, porzioni mignon per un prezzo maxi. Vista le porzioni e il prezzo abbiamo deciso di saltare il secondo e passare al dolce. Altri 30 minuti di attesa solo per ordinare. Dopo una ulteriore attesa ci vediamo costretti a richiamare l’attenzione del cameriere, arriva e ci dice che i dolci richiesti sono finiti. Che delusione! Ne ordiniamo altri che mangiamo ormai stufi di stare seduti lì da circa tre ore solo per un primo e un dolce. Al momento del conto , sproporzionato a quanto consumato, ci rendiamo conto che proprio non è all’altezza delle aspettative che propina il sito. Non consigliato assolutamente!

21/01/2024: Classy restaurant among the best in my region, located along the shores of Lake Trasimeno. You can find a really good menu based on raw and cooked meats as you can see from the photos. Wide choice of wines and above all raw materials quality. Very nice location and really pleasant, well-trained and friendly staff. Recommended if you want to spend a quiet dinner eating well along the banks of Trasimeno.

03/05/2024: I hope that my words can be of help to those unfortunate enough to find themselves in the same situation as me. I had to cancel the booking at this facility for my eighteenth birthday two months after the first contacts I unfortunately had with the person in charge of managing the events. The person in question defined relations with me and my family as a "nightmare" and a "worry" (and I quote his words verbatim) for the simple fact of having tried to organize as soon as possible, so as to be all more certain about the to have, a buffet dinner with simple typical Umbrian products (torta al testo, pizza, crostini etc), based on a menu that we had to ask for four times because each time the dishes were changed with gourmet products, which we had specified not be adequate for our guests, or because some dishes had been removed while obviously leaving the price unchanged (certainly quite high compared to the courses requested). What I want to highlight is the extreme rudeness of this person precisely in a job where customer care should be privileged; as long as you adapt to his gourmet proposals, he is very kind and prompt in his response, as soon as you request another type of menu, he finds all sorts of justifications (the children who delete the messages, the secretary who doesn't know how to copy and paste and how much more). I would point out that he himself was the first to specify that we could ask for anything by paying, which was also not very elegant to say, given that we didn't have a pre-established spending budget and we hadn't even asked the cost. Doubly mercenary given that, since the party included an open bar service with the supply of drinks upon presentation of a special ticket, he initially also wanted us to pay two tickets per person, even if they were not consumed. I won't add anything other than that, without him, my birthday will undoubtedly be one of 2000 and one nights, given that he also dared to tell me that in the end mine was just a birthday and not a wedding of a thousand and one nights, again to quote his exact words. Lastly, I would like to point out that this outburst of mine absolutely does not concern the Mariotti family, with whom we had already had relations for other family events which were successful and for which we were fully satisfied. A real shame that such an impeccable location is left in the hands of such personalities.
