31/03/2024: Food was pricey and yet inedible. Yes, Venice, I know - high prices are to be expected. But at least I would expect escalope not dry as a rubber (literally could barely cut it with a knife) and salty (which normally indicates trying to hide bad meat) - literally returned it and preferred to go hungry. Seafood spaghetti for my son were a better option and still overcooked spaghetti in Italy makes me scratch my head... And yes, 3 euros per person extra even for my 5 year old when I didn't even order a single thing for her, cause she was not hungry...

17/03/2024: long wait, about 10 minutes; dirty wine glass with various fingerprints, following the complaint the "new glass" was all wet without the slightest effort to dry it... makes it clear that they probably used the same rinsed glass instead of using a new clean glass! unacceptable!!!

31/03/2024: I had heard of this Eritrean restaurant several times and finally had the opportunity to try it. The place, in terms of size and furnishings, appears somewhat dated: given the wooden tables and chairs, the faded photos and leathers hanging on the walls, the small bathroom with low ceiling, it almost seems like entering the home of a traveler lover of Eritrea than in a common modern restaurant. There's no music in the background either, which makes conversation easier. The owner is a very kind and helpful gentleman, patiently explains the dishes and recommends some even outside the menu. So I tried antelope meat, buffalo strips, boiled vegetables (alicha) and chickpea cream, to be eaten using traditional bread (injera) as a spoon. The dishes are slightly spicy but this does not overpower the flavour. I liked everything! In particular, I really appreciated the hot cinnamon tea, served as a digestive. I was hoping to also try some typical desserts but they are absent from the menu. The final price (€24 per person "fixed menu", drinks included) seems quite correct to me. I recommend going there at least once, to try something different than usual.

28/03/2024: The five star reviews are inexplicable! Environment definitely in need of renovation: you are greeted by two rooms painted with old oil paint "embellished" with half-detached decorative tape and falling animal skins, damp stains on the ceiling, dust, spartan furnishings, yellowed paintings and a bathroom that I think was one basement where anyone taller than 1.80 hits their head. Everything was damp with a musty smell, even the price list seemed wet. High prices for no reason: a single bowl with pieces of meat (even from strange animals, such as antelope and buffalo) and some rolls of tasteless bread costs twenty euros. Inedible hummus, it only had the memory of chickpeas, on the other hand it was mixed with watered down sauce. Watery aubergines cut into chunks. Nothing special. No garnish. No appetizer. No desserts. Only a hot tea (good) at the end of dinner to be paid extra. Ah, to enter you ring the bell, probably to give the staff more time to escape if the Nas arrive. The gentleman, very kind, should really consider improving the place and reviewing the menu... I don't recommend it.

13/02/2024: Excellent place for breakfast (even on the go) and lunch. The atmosphere is very nice, but what is most striking is the kindness of the staff and a tasty and different menu every day with choices for all tastes. P.S. booking recommended

27/10/2023: Siamo arrivati tardi per pranzo (h 14:30!) ma ci hanno accolto con grande cortesia e abbiamo mangiato due pietanze deliziose: tagliatelle integrali con salsiccia+sbrise e cous cous con verdure al forno, spezie marocchine e salsa allo yogurt. Abbiamo trovato un menù vario e ben pensato oltre che ben realizzato. Complimenti! Prezzo corretto.

31/12/2023: The hotel is located in a strategic position, convenient to the motorway and to reach many places of interest while remaining in a quiet environment, valid for both tourist and business stays. The rooms are well furnished and clean. The restaurant is very comfortable and offers quality dishes. The director and all the staff are professional and extremely courteous. Highly recommended.

02/04/2024: Very nice restaurant in the heart of Padua. Friendly and courteous service as well as attentive. Typical cuisine well prepared with excellent raw materials. It was an excellent discovery. 01/04/2024: The mussels starter was amazing, the cuddle fish pasta was also really good. The peas risotto was a bit of a miss: the peas overpowered everything else. Note that the menu was totally different than you see here on google maps. The wine (ripasso) was very good. Great desserts (tiramisu and orange cake); I don't usually like dessert. The service was great.

01/04/2024: At least twice a week we go to sip an excellent glass of wine and enjoy some inviting appetizers. Friendly and very kind staff 🙂

26/09/2023: A very good restaurant from start to finish. Since all the restaurants here seemed to be closed in September, we decided to go here. Service and food were excellent and the price was completely reasonable.

06/04/2024: 3.5, The tiramisu was the best we had in the Italy trip. Having said that, the rest of the food was daily oily. We ordered 4 cheese pizza. Spaghetti with pesto. Ravioli and minestrone soup. Soup was very good. Rest of the food was pretty average. Will recommend just for the tiramisu . The other thing, we didn’t order for 4 cheese penne, the waiter delivered it to our table and we didn’t realize it and when he told us, we returned it saying we’d prefer our pesto spaghetti. The waiter ended up charging us $7 for that dish that we neither ordered, nor ate.

05/04/2024: The waiters are very kind, the pasta delicious and finally a restaurant where they don't give you a gigantic plate with very little pasta in the center!!! It's just that the seats inside are a bit crowded but this restaurant deserves a five stars🫶

17/03/2024: A wonderful place. The location doesn't need reviews because it is spectacular. The restaurant has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, the staff has a real kindness that is not so obvious, in many places you receive a cold politeness, here truly genuine kindness and sincere smiles. And the food... well in my opinion and for my taste, I would say perfect both in presentation and taste. I really liked everything.

23/01/2024: Keep going like this and the star will arrive! Went to the castle to define an important event, we had the pleasure of trying the tasting menu. Impressive and elegant location. 30/03/2024: Everything was amazing. The location is convenient on the main street. A wonderful cozy restaurant with a wide range of products. The room is clean and cozy with a comfortable bed and snow-white sheets. Polite and attentive staff. I would like to visit this Hotel again.

03/04/2024: We spent our Easter vacation here. The rooms are simply furnished, but nothing is missing and it is very clean. Very large breakfast buffet with a lot of choice. In the evening you can choose from three starters, three main courses and two desserts. There is also salad and a greeting from the kitchen. There are very tasty local wines to choose from with your meal. There are bikes available to borrow for free, but the weather was too bad for us The staff is always helpful and very accommodating and friendly In my opinion, value for money is very good
