16/10/2023: Food was OK to good, but we have eaten better at Maronti Beach. Very unfriendly when paying!

13/10/2023: Fantastic restaurant with lovely owners, great service and the food is out of this world. The freshest ingredients. I dined at Ottomano twice and both times were a hit! The grilled calamari is enough for two and the caprese salad is just delicious. The seafood pasta was another favorite, and the house white wine paired (too) well ;) I'd highly recommend this spot.

22/12/2023: The owner was very rude: at the time of payment at the cash register, given the high cost, my mother asked for information on the cost of table service as it was not specified anywhere. The owner became noticeably nervous and raised his voice. Be careful if you sit at the table because for each piece ordered there is a surcharge but no one explains it. I remember that the price list should still be displayed by law.... But above all, a little more education wouldn't hurt. However, I hope that the owner can take inspiration from this review to try to improve in this aspect, reducing the nervousness that perhaps can sometimes be a little excessive towards a customer.

17/03/2024: I recently worked in the village of Santa Lucia. I had passed by several times without ever stopping even though I was intrigued because it was clear that it had excellent products... a couple of days ago I went there for the first time with my wife... courtesy and kindness reign supreme. We took 2 sandwiches and to say they were good is an understatement... an exceptional flavour, a unique taste! Highest quality products. Not only have you acquired a new customer but I will give you great publicity... people like you deserve this and more!

16/03/2024: We were looking around for a place to try some local meats and cheeses, trying to find something small and not tourist baiting. We found this hidden gem in the back streets of the coast. We asked for a mixed taster platter (as seen in the picture), which is offered with beer or wine of your choice. They have a wide selection of wines from local to national bottles. We had lovely conversations with the owner, Davide, who told us he’s the 4th generation of this business which started in 1930s. His passion for the delicacy was so admirable and inspiring. We got to try a wide range of cheese and cured meats as well as some homemade baked goods and vegetable dishes. He kept coming back with more stuff for us to try! Highly recommend this little shop to anyone local or touring around the area. Look out for it! The prices were also very fair and reasonable for such a high quality selection and for the portion sizes. We had an Italian speaker with us who did most of the talking, otherwise I don’t think we would’ve been able to talk to him much which would’ve been a huge shame as he was so wonderful. 28/03/2024: We had an amazing dinner. One had the 6 course fish menu, two the 6 course meat menu and the children off the regular menu. Fantastic food and service.

26/02/2024: I have been coming from love for exactly 15 years. Walking area and may give the idea of ​​being touristy due to the area in which it is located, but it is not at all!! Over many years, I have been able to witness the evolution and growth of this magical place. Furthermore, this year I enjoyed the magnificent dishes of chef Pasquale Rinaldo. Welcome entrée with attention to detail (that butter with anchovy?! And what are we talking about?!). Space smoked tartare!!! And then the first one that I preferred was the carbonara with scampi. A true ENJOYMENT, not only for the palate, but also for the nose! You can't tell, you have to try. So if you are in Capri you can't miss stopping by d'amore.

25/10/2023: In my opinion, there is no finer restaurant in Capri. I have gone here every year I have come and D'Amore always pleases. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. The staff, are the greatest. You get much more than you ask for here and everything is exquisite. Thank you Marco Pasquale, Tonino, Antonella, Ernesto and all of your waiters for making me feel appreciated. See you next year! And, don't remember la musica!

11/03/2024: Well kept place. We went on a Saturday night and there was a lot of crowd, but I imagine there is less during the week. The sandwiches were excellent... I took a "Strapazzato" and it was really excellent, many of my friends chose a sandwich with croquettes, provola, ham and hamburger, saying it was excellent! I don't remember the name, but I recommend it. As appetizers we took a portion of "Magic balls" and a portion of potatoes, provola and sausage (very good). Recommended place! We paid a total of 19 euros each, for a total of 115 euros for the 6 of us.

The managers are super helpful and very kind, the environment is extremely pleasant and there is never chaos where you don't understand anything. In addition to the selection of beers on tap, there is an innumerable quantity of bottled and canned beers of all types available, you really can't lose your mind! A place that deserves a lot, I recommend this place to everyone, capable of making even those who don't like beer find the perfect beer.

25/03/2024: Family-run restaurant. Anyone who expects 5 star cuisine here is wrong. There is good Italian home cooking here. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. The restaurant is on a side street in Pompeii, so it's easy to miss. If you want to eat well in Pompeii, this is a great place for you.
