Really excellent tasting menu, delicate and particular flavours, a lot of care in the presentation of the dishes, in the description of the raw materials and the preparation of the dishes. The creamed cod, the bread ravioli, the cuttlefish carbonara and the fish slice are particularly delicious. Friendly and precise service. With dessert they offered us a glass of passito! Small and well-kept place. If you pass through Piombino, treat yourself to a meal here!

04/04/2024: Urchin pasta, taste only pepper or something. It was Just “spicy”. No taste of urchin… I think they mistakenly put pepper instead of salt???the other pastas were good.
14/03/2024: Excellent quality of fish. Various starters and all really good. As a first course, I recommend the linguine with sea urchin, an exceptional dish.

22/12/2023: Located in the picturesque town of San Piero in Campo, Hotel La Rosa is a quaint hotel which offers comfortable rooms at an affordable price. The facilities are well kept and the staff is very friendly. Hotel La Rosa is one of the few hotels that operate year-round in the Island of Elba and the rooms are climate-controlled. There’s a public parking lot within walking distance which is convenient. And don’t forget to try the pizza from the hotel’s pizzeria.

2 first courses, trio [consisting of tagliatelle with wild boar, mushrooms and pici with hare] and tagliatelle with mushrooms.
2 seconds, grilled wild boar and ribs.
1 dessert.
Water, wine, coffee and bitters.
For two, Euro 75.
Nice staff and good food.
01/04/2024: Very beautiful place, well-kept, welcoming, the large fireplace in the center of the fabulous room. The staff was super friendly and attentive to requests made.
Delicious soups and amazing tagliatelle with mushrooms.
Too bad it's about 300km away otherwise we would have gone often.

03/04/2024: Every time we pass through Livorno, we stop at the Il Molo restaurant. Our favorite restaurant in Livorno. Everything is top notch, incredible fritto misto, fabulous lobster spaghetti, and everyone is lovely. Looking forward to our next stay in Livorno!

I recommend Fish soup with fish balls.

Friendly and very hospitable staff
