Only a waitress who is small in stature, but always ready and above all with a smile, is saved, the exact opposite, with all due respect, of an older one who was also grumpy in responding to a simple request.

06/04/2024: The restaurant is located in the countryside, along Via Settevalli a few kilometers from the Fontivegge train station.
In front there is a large car park, which however quickly becomes saturated due to the abundance of customers.
The restaurant has several rooms, so there is no feeling of a very crowded place.
The restaurant is tastefully furnished, with details that create a welcoming atmosphere, such as walls of exposed bottles and an antique slicer on display.
The waiters are fast and very kind.
The bathrooms are discreetly kept and are equipped with soap and towels, as well as - which is rare in restaurants - even hot water, which is much appreciated in winter.
The equipment is made of fabric and the knives cut well.
The menu offers various types of dishes and pizzas, which can also be ordered with the pinsa base.
The pizzas have good dough, but rather small, oval in shape and not too seasoned.
Prices are average in the area.

12/05/2024: Table for 4 people booked via Google. PROS: very welcoming place. Stunning location. Easy to reach. CONS: an insult to Umbrian cuisine... 4 people 2 beers 2 waters 2 cocacolas appetizers and pizza with 3 desserts 36 euros each. It's not just one, but not a little either. The problem was that the Umbrian cheese and cured meat platters at 15 euros each literally had 1 slice of cold cuts of each type and two slices of unmatured cheese and in my opinion not even Umbrian, which they passed off as two cheeses (and which in my opinion were the same cheese and not two different ones). Perfect pizzas at all tables seem to be made with a protractor, bready dough (pre-cooked or frozen bases?). Soft desserts, as if they had been open on the counter for 1 or 2 days. The trifle was not a trifle. Only I took a small glass of passive, which arrived in a hot glass and clearly empty (old bottle or left open?).
I'm sorry to be critical but people now lower their heads to everything and eat what the convent has to offer, risking ending up equating places like this with those of real Italian cuisine.
I would add that at the counter with us there was a person who had been to this place several times in the past years and there had probably been a change of management there, because he assured me that in the past the place was much more rustic and the menu different

05/05/2024: I had the pleasure of dining with a group of 11 friends at the restaurant during a weekend in the beautiful city of Perugia.
From the first moment, we were struck by the unique atmosphere of the place. The furnishings are studied down to the smallest details and are full of black and white photos that tell the story of Perugia over the years. A real journey through time that immersed us in local culture and tradition.
We agreed on a fixed menu at €30 per person, which included an appetizer, a first course, a second course, two bottles of red wine and two bottles of water.
The starter was a mixture of cured meats and cheeses of excellent quality and freshness. As a first course, we enjoyed some delicious smoked paccheri, i.e. blended with vodka, cream, tomato and chopped bacon. A tasty and rich dish, which managed to conquer our palates.
The second course was based on pork chops with apple, honey and mustard. The meat was tender and juicy, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of the apple and the spicy note of the mustard.
To conclude on a high note, we ordered a homemade tiramisu, creamy and with an authentic flavor which was rightly not included in the initially agreed price. A real touch of class that made our dinner truly special.
In addition to the fixed menu, we also ordered more wine, water and a dessert each. The final bill was more than fair, especially considering the quality of the food and service.
The staff at Storie Perugine were friendly and attentive to our needs, always ready to advise us and satisfy our every request.

07/05/2024: I was with my girlfriend for the May 1st long weekend in Umbria and having passed through Perugia we decided to trust this pizzeria. We took 2 savory Maritozzi, 4 slices of pan and a classic pizza. Starting from the two husbands (even if they were served after the pan because Andrea decided that way) the best was the one with caponata, the other with scampi and lime was anything but salty, it was sweet. among the pan pizzas we chose "mari e monti" a good combination but compared to the topping it seemed like we were only eating pasta, it was very often the slice. The disappointment of the evening was the contemporary octopus and potato pizza, the potatoes seemed to have been thrown there by chance, but then I didn't finish it because I found a piece of glass, he had offered to make it again but I wouldn't have eaten a whole pizza, it would have been It was a waste, we took two cheesecakes (which were offered to us). I gave 1 star for the service also because when I showed the splinter the waitress told me she couldn't see. I would have preferred if he had offered pizza rather than dessert. If you expect more than a normal pizzeria you have to be impeccable. I wouldn't recommend it.

14/02/2024: Superb! I sincerely thank Chef Alice for letting me live this wonderful experience. I didn't even take a photo so as not to disturb the atmosphere. In short, I enjoyed it from the entree to the dessert: balance and delight in every bite! Not to mention the unquestionable professionalism of the staff. Come and discover this place!

Maurizio (truffle hunter) with Mira (the star of the show, the dog), and Federica our host were fantastic. Absolutely a must. The tasting of truffles- from meats to cheeses, honeys, olive oils were all fantastic. Highly highly reccomend!
