01/04/2024: AS GOOD AS I WANTED IT, A LITTLE SOMETHING EXTRA WOULDN'T WORTH IT, AS REGARDS DRINKING, THEY COULD GIVE THE POSSIBILITY TO CHOOSE THE WINE, NOT JUST A BOTTLE OR A GLASS, BUT ALSO OTHER. HOWEVER PROMOTED.

27/03/2024: Welcoming and clean environment, pleasant and characteristic atmosphere. Well-executed dishes, corresponding to the descriptions; very good variety of beers. Polite, fast and friendly staff. Adequate price, but portions of meat smaller than in the past.

14/03/2024: This place is located 5 minutes off base. It has great food, lots of drinks at a decent price. Food is more American but Beer is brewed in house! It has huge space to accommodate many people inside and outside! Check it out!

06/04/2024: It's been our go-to pizzeria for years. The quality is always excellent and the choice very varied. The restaurant also has a wide choice, both meat and fish. A fridge dedicated to meat, visible, and a large grill that is always lit complete the offer. The drinks are also good, where nothing is missing. We return and we will return.

03/04/2024: We were there on Easter Sunday and only discovered the restaurant by chance. Despite the low season, there was a notice on the door saying "The restaurant is full". It can't be that bad then. We tried it anyway without a reservation because we didn't want to keep looking in the rain. Restaurant was actually full, mostly Italians and a few Austrians. Nevertheless, the owner was able to get a table ready for us after a few minutes. Already the first positive experience. Until then, we enjoyed a gin and tonic at the bar. The menu is not very large in terms of both selection and format. The most important thing: three T-bone steaks of different origins for 8EUR/100g, which I don't think is exorbitant. You can choose bottled wine directly from the shelf, which I think is very good; I always prefer the tactile experience of a bottle to a wine list. Prices around 30-40EUR. The next positive experience. When I was choosing the wine, I discovered the highlight: the steaks (and fish) are prepared on an open fire. The only point of criticism: the side vegetables came a little too early and were therefore only lukewarm when the steak arrived. There was a large selection of desserts, tiramisu is always good and the crème brûlée came to the table scorching, espresso was excellent as it is almost everywhere in Italy. The conclusion was a nice chat with the boss (thanks again for the cake and grappa!) What can I say, completely satisfied and I wish we had discovered the place earlier. In summer I would definitely recommend booking a few days in advance.

28/03/2024: The food is 5 stars for the quality, grilled meat is very good and cooked with skill, the service is 2 stars because Francisco is nice otherwise I would have given one star. You can't wait more than an hour between starter and main course and the innkeeper's answer certainly can't be to come on a Thursday if you don't want to wait. Personally, despite the quality of the food and wines, I will not go back again, also because for what we spent the service should have been impeccable. Francisco was a pleasure, but once is enough

18/03/2024: What a wonderful place. Everything we had was delicious, but the Bistecca alla Fiorentina was definitely the highlight. The service was excellent and everyone was very kind to our seven-year-old son. Highly recommended!

08/05/2024: A welcoming restaurant in a wonderful natural environment, every day of the year. The staff is really attentive, courteous and helpful. The well-presented dishes are the flagship of this business. Recommended without reservations even for large groups.

Excellent meat and wine, attentive staff and a really nice structure that perfectly matched my tastes. Average prices and in any case consistent with the menu offered. Highly recommended if you want to eat outside Udine
