Everything carefully studied... I don't think too many words are needed to describe the quality offered by the tavern, both in terms of the products (strictly 0 km) and the service.
We had the opportunity to go on a public holiday, and despite this, everything was nothing short of superlative.
Amazing gastronomic tasting accompanied by the friendliness of the owner and the girl who served us.
Definitely a landmark not to be missed in Caselle in Pittari.
13/03/2024: Having lunch at the Tancredi tavern is a pleasant and evocative experience for the palate and the spirit. The food, from appetizers to first courses, not to forget the second courses and desserts, is fantastic: local cured meats, fried pies, mixed vegetables, whether or not stirred in a pan; Homemade first courses (tagliatelle, gnocchi, fusilli) with simple sauce, with sausage, truffle with or without sausage and meats of all types and maturation and home-made desserts (babà and delicious chocolate). To this we add the warmth, professionalism and friendship of the staff, all you have to do is try!
Dining at the Tancredi inn is a pleasant and evocative experience for the palate and spirit.
The food, from appetizers to the first, not to forget the second and desserts is fantastic: country meats, fried cakes, mixed vegetables, creamed or not in the pan; first of the house (noodles, gnocchi, fusilli) with simple sauce, with sausage, truffle with or without sausage and meat, of all kinds and ripening and homemade cakes (baba and delicious chocolate). 18/03/2024: tasty appetizer very rich in cured meats, cheeses and various tastings, excellent products. the first courses are excellent thanks also to the pasta made by them. if you come to this nice little place don't miss a nice cut of meat (very extensive menu), they bring lava stone to the table for perfect cooking depending on the customer. very kind and professional staff.
shame about the uncrisped bread and the unstitched tablecloth. little things that have little impact on the experience. definitely worth trying

30/12/2023: At the end of our second stage of the San Nilo journey, the smiling Clorinda welcomed us. As soon as we enter, a little cold and tired, he offers us a much-desired hot cup from his infinite collection of herbal teas and infusions, accompanied by an equally well-stocked and tasty collection of biscuits and sweets. He takes us to the room after a quick chat, the clean room, the bathroom with hot water and hairdryer, together with all their comforts that make us feel pampered just enough to decide to stay for dinner in the farmhouse.
After a quick chat with her husband Antonio, in front of the warmth of the lit fireplace, she prepares dinner for us.
Without having to order anything, she brings us her long list of appetizers, all cooked by her, with typical products, some of her own production, all wonderful. From pumpkin soup, to bean soup, to artichokes, to turnip greens, to cured meats and cheeses accompanied by the jam she produces, to the bread with caciocavallo prepared directly on the fireplace in front of us.
The next morning we wake up at dawn and our breakfast is already ready waiting for us, always delicious and ready for our every desire.
Going through here was the best decision we could have made.
10/12/2023: If you want to eat local cuisine, come here. Excellent home cooking, very friendly staff who make you feel at home along with the rest of the environment. As for the rooms, I can't tell you! Overall, a great experience and I will gladly return.
