15/11/2023: Reserved a table via the restaurant's website (using the Quandoo reservation service). I received confirmation of the reservation. It did state that if I did not show up without cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, an amount of €48 would be charged. Received a reminder email the day before the booking with a request for confirmation. Confirmed of course.
To the restaurant tonight: closed! Can I now charge Quandoo or the restaurant €48 for a ruined birthday surprise for my wife?

Thanks for the reply. I rate Google as less reliable than reports on your own website. We have experienced that several times.
Unfortunately, the days we still have here are already fully planned. I have adjusted the rating slightly.

09/02/2024: fabulous lunch up high in the Furore mountain overlooking the Amalfi coast, just wonderful hosts. It is a family run business and the food is really good!
15/10/2023: Das Hotel hat ein „Gut“ verdient.
Sehr netter Empfang, der Gastgeber ist sehr hilfsbereit. Parkplätze vorhanden. Wir hatten ein Zimmer unterhalb der Strasse. Aussicht fantastisch. Zimmer mit Balkon, wenn auch der Balkon sehr sehr klein war.
Frühstück mit vielem süssen, aber auch Käsescheiben, Fleisch, Gemüse und Früchten. Zweckmässig angerichtet.
Wir haben im Restaurant des Hotels gegessen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Leider hatte es in der Nachbarschaft einige Hunde und einen Gockel, die auch in der Nacht, resp. am Morgen früh bellten/krähte. Von da her war es nicht sehr ruhig, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts.

We didn’t have a reservation, but got the last available table. I’d highly recommend making a reservation.

11/11/2023: We were lucky enough to find this place the week before they closed for the season. They were so kind and made us outstanding cappuccinos! Definitely the cleanest and nicest bathroom I encountered in all of Italy! We enjoyed chatting with them and taking in the views while siping our cappuccinos and enjoying our cornettos! We had to return for dinner and found it to be even better for dinner! This is definitely a must visit place!
10/11/2023: Delicious food and great service. The staff were so welcoming. My friends and I are here two or three times whilst staying in Furore.

10/03/2024: We found this place by chance on the street. Friendly staff. It's not bad for the food but it's very expensive! .. You wouldn't think so from the old place, in fact we didn't expect it... 5 of us with 3 simple appetizers without cheeses or side dishes, some bruschetta, 4 first course meat dishes, 3 slices of meat with baked potatoes, water and 2 glasses of wine with 2 meloncelli and a bitter: €233.00. Exaggerated we will not return. That's why there was no one there, just the 5 of us, even though it was a Sunday.
25/02/2024: My wife and I had the Eggplant Parmigiana and a pasta dish that was fantastic! Service was great and the views were amazing! Ignore the stupid bad reviews. Definitely recommend!

17/03/2024: Una cena favolosa. Nel menù non ci sono tantissimi piatti ma questo per me è segno di freschezza e qualità ed infatti è quello che si trova in questo ristorante. Tutto, dall’antipasto al dolce è stato squisito, si vede nei piatti la passione e la bravura dello chef. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e sicuramente quando torneremo a furore faremo di nuovo tappa qui. I prezzi sono in linea con il posto e giustificati dalla scelta delle eccellenti materie prime, inoltre i piatti che abbiamo provato noi li abbiamo trovati molto abbondanti.

01/02/2024: Siamo stati due volte in questo posto meraviglioso, una volta a cena ed una a pranzo a distanza di due anni, non mi ha mai deluso.
È uno dei posti del mio Cuore.
Una location meravigliosa, il giardino che affaccia sul mare, i profumi della costiera nei piatti.
Forse l'unico neo le porzioni un po' piccole e i prezzi non proprio da agriturismo, ma li perdono.
Non vedo l'ora di ritornarci.
19/11/2023: Spent an unforgettable week at Sant Alfonso as part of G-Adventures hiking group. Everything from the steps to get there, location, the views, gardens, food, food, food, hospitality, accommodation, the juicy figs, tour of the premises...absolutely everything was part of the best we had on our Hiking the Amalfi trip! Would love to return!!

02/10/2023: My wife and I stayed at Agriturisimo Serafina for four nights, including breakfast and dinner, and could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Other than coffee, flour, salt and sugar, the family produces all food stuffs they put on the table - this is quite literally, farm-to-table cuisine. Although "simple" foods, the family knows just how to season each dish they prepare - and there are many dishes every evening.
The patriarch - Dominic - fosters an welcoming and interactive atmosphere during the dinners along with generous amounts of wine during the meal and the finishing touch of limoncello at the end (all home-made). The small family manages all aspects of the on-premises farm (animals, vegetables and fruits) operation as well as the kitchen and all house-keeping duties. Quite impressive.
Daughter Rosa is the primary contact with guests (she's fluent in French and English) as well as a dizzying, whirlwind presence in all aspects of the business. We were both humbled and astonished at the kindness and unyielding willingness of the family - especially Rosa - to quickly address any and all questions, interests or concerns expressed by their guests.
The lovely, idyllic setting is a much welcomed balm for the soul.
