20/01/2024: Cena in famiglia , abbiamo potuto provare sia il ristorante che le pizze , impasto buono e altamente digeribile e ben lievitato condite con prodotti di alta qualità. Anche il ristorante non è da meno, calamarata di gamberi e millefoglie di pesce anch'essi buoni e di qualità. Buone le birre artigianali e la carta dei vini. Personale attento e cordiale. Ci ritornerò sicuramente per provare altri piatti!

04/04/2024: We had pizza, one with shrimps one with cheese Honestly not the best pizza I’ve ever tried The dough was elastic, like it wasn’t cooked enough. Very disappointed. We had also a plate for kid, “pollo” it was good. The service though was very good and the atmosphere also.

09/05/2024: A historic restaurant with a quiet and pleasant environment, fairly fast service and friendly and helpful staff. the food was well presented, the vegetables and EVO oil with organic certification were excellent, the caciocavallo all'Argentiera was good, the pasta was a little dry even though the seasoning was particularly abundant. There are tables available both inside and outside at street level.

04/05/2024: Unfortunately we were taken there with the tour group and were apparently "fobbed off". Ambience is neon lighting. The starter platter was carelessly prepared and the main course - mackerel - unfortunately wasn't exactly what you would expect. Went to other restaurants in Palermo that had much more interesting and tasty cuisine.

05/04/2024: We were looking for a restaurant close to our apartment, so happy we found this place… the food was delicious, my 11 and 7 year were even impressed. Everything was tasty and we for sure do hope to visit again before we leave this city. We ordered 6 dishes so was quite expensive, but worth it.

05/04/2024: I ate in this restaurant twice during my stay in Palermo, I recommend it, especially if you are celiac. The squid ink pasta was fantastic. The passito semifreddo is also very good, although it is the only gluten-free dessert they have. They also have gluten-free bread and they were very careful because I didn't have any health problems.

02/04/2024: Nice restaurant, although the service seemed to be irritated that tourists enter their place. After that awkward moment, the service was good. The restaurant has an excellent wine menu - in it not only the wines were listed but there was also a description on each winery. I liked it - the wines were pretty pricey though. Regarding the food: it was good (especially the pasta), but not excellent, way too much sauce. If you ask me, skip the secondi and go for dessert directly.

05/05/2024: I have been to this farmhouse with family and friends for lunch, so I will only review the restaurant part. Getting to the farm is not complicated even if you arrive in a fairly isolated area, like every farm. There is spacious parking upon arrival. I visited the farmhouse where there is both a restaurant and rooms for rent, we had lunch outside as it was a beautiful day. However, the farmhouse includes a swimming pool and various very large rooms for banquets and receptions. The menu was varied and included starter, first course, second course and dessert. The best part were the appetizers, the ricotta and the fried food were very good. Excellent service, helpful staff. I absolutely recommend booking. Lunch cost €35 per person with a fixed menu; fair price for the quantity and quality of the food, the latter very high. Advised.

02/04/2024: It’s been interesting coming back after a number of years. The place has been renovated since I was there the last time. Very nice inside. Air conditioning was great, as despite being March, it was very warm outside. As usual they were all super nice, polite, kind, accommodating with requests. There was not anymore a menu à la carte, only two set of tasting menu (4 or 6 dishes). I was actually very happy about that, as the tasting menu was really good and prices absolutely fair. They also make their own delicious bread and breadsticks. Very good also the wine list. Everything was absolutely perfect, we enjoyed every dish. Highly recommended.

03/04/2024: Food was not bad but the service was quite honestly bad. Waitresses were insanely slow and not nice, the place is called Pane e Alivi and we were the only table not to get bread and olives, we had to ask twice and got only bread bur were charged for the olives as well. Do not recommend, many other places to eat in Palermo instead

03/04/2024: The cuisine holds its own compared to other restaurants in Palermo, in addition to being a bit revisited. But disaster, the really unpleasant service puts you off the meal. Like a feeling of annoying them more than anything else. After 40 minutes of waiting to be able to order despite calls and reminders, the dishes arrive disdainfully thrown away. Let's eat quickly and leave! We will never dare to ask why other customers are entitled to bread and olives as indicated by the name of the restaurant and not us. They must not have liked our face.

27/03/2024: This morning we had breakfast in this bar, after the 9am Mass in the church, practically opposite. The arancini are excellent with both meat and butter, they make other types, but at the moment they were finished... the calzones were also good, but nothing special, even if they cost €2.30 at this price, I also ate some gourmet. There are tables outside so you can eat on site. They also sell cigarettes inside.
