25/03/2024: Of course it was a strange idea to eat ramen soup in Padua, Italy. The restaurant was large and empty, we felt like we were led to a cat table in the back of the restaurant. The selection of soups was small, which is actually a good sign. Soup was OK, but we skipped starters because they would have taken a comparatively long time to prepare.

10/02/2024: Very welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. All the food was very good, worth mentioning are the starters, we especially liked both the tartare trio, the xiao long bao and the sea bass and salmon in tempura.

13/01/2024: Nice place run by Italians, overlooking the walls of Cittadella, welcoming staff. As non-sushi fans we can say that we ate well. Adequate prices. (Not from a Chinese restaurant!)

03/04/2024: I don't know how much the increase in food prices has affected the economy of this restaurant but I think a 5X1000 style fundraiser is necessary given that rice, udon and chicken arrive completely unpackaged (with the exception of the liters of seed oil on which they evidently earn commissions ) €30 (all you can eat excluding covered drinks and dessert service) I think could be spent in better ways. Ps. Small dogs not allowed inside the restaurant (judging by the smell only in the kitchen)

The two rooms available are both very beautiful and the attention to detail in the layout contributes to creating an inviting atmosphere. A particularly appreciable aspect is the distance between the tables, which guarantees a peaceful meal experience without the fear of feeling suffocated or too close to other people. The restaurant is well air-conditioned, maintaining a comfortable internal temperature for the entire duration of the dinner. Although the place appears clean, the only flaw found concerns the physical menus, which were slightly sticky. However, this small problem can be easily circumvented thanks to the availability of a QR code to consult the menu digitally. The menu offers a notable variety of dishes, ranging from Japanese to Chinese cuisine, making the restaurant an excellent choice for both sushi lovers and those who prefer other Asian specialities. This diversity in the menu, together with the versatile atmosphere of the restaurant, makes it suitable for various occasions: from romantic dinners to informal meetings or evenings with friends. However, some aspects of the service need improvement. The interior lighting, for example, was perceived as excessively low, potentially a stylistic choice that, personally, I found unpleasant. Additionally, order management issues were encountered, with some dishes being delivered incorrectly, duplicated or never arriving. Even the timeliness in collecting used plates from the table left something to be desired, sometimes creating a sense of disorder during the meal. The staff, despite the misunderstandings, proved to be very friendly, trying to compensate for the shortcomings in the service with kindness and helpfulness. The price of the meal is average, making the restaurant accessible without being excessively expensive. Also noteworthy is the welcome reserved for animals, a detail that will certainly be appreciated by guests who wish to bring their four-legged friends with them. In conclusion, the Sushimi Restaurant in Montegrotto Terme offers an overall good gastronomic experience, with strong points represented by the refined aesthetics of the restaurant and the variety of the menu. However, to achieve an excellent level of service, it would be advisable to solve the problems related to managing orders and cleaning physical menus, as well as reconsidering internal lighting to make the environment even more welcoming.
