30/10/2023: This was the nicest meal we had in Portovenere and one of the nicest of our three-week Italy trip. We stopped by on a Sunday to make a reservation for Tuesday evening. The atmosphere indoors was lovely and the service was attentive. It's primarily a seafood restaurant so my options were incredibly limited as a vegetarian, but I truly enjoyed the bread, grilled vegetables, pesto pasta (though the portion was quite small), and a deconstructed tiramisu. My husband had a piece of fish and said it was incredible. Fancier experience corresponds with fancier prices, but such is life. We would return.

31/03/2024: Notwithstanding the fact that on occasions the food is bad almost everywhere, for Easter 2024 I decided to book here but regretted it. The fixed menu is really simple, poor and sad. A miserable appetizer with tuna tartare, cod in kataifi paste, anchovy pie and little else. First course of maccheroncini (terrible pasta) with clams and shelled muscles. Second course: fried, chewy and dark in colour. Positive note: the dessert and the friendly staff. Absolutely inadequate and exorbitant price for the proposal. I don't think I'll return.

15/09/2023: Finally a smart bread that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with flavor and heavy in weight (not an air item). I can recommend Integral and Ciabatta. The whole wheat rolls are also good. Still delicious untoasted even on the second day.

01/04/2024: Tonight we enjoyed a delicious meal at La Marinara in La Grazie with seafood antipasti, different Pizzas and other things we were offered to try. Very good Pizza and very friendly stuff - at a reasonable Price. We wish you more happy customers to come :) !!

01/04/2024: Quality restaurant overlooking the small port. Very courteous and helpful staff. As soon as you enter you can smell the good cooked fish. The fried food and homemade spaghetti are excellent.

26/03/2024: Having read the previous reviews which spoke very highly of the cuisine, we tried this restaurant, despite taking into account the previous reports of increased prices in the bill. In all honesty I can only speak highly of the welcoming and friendly owner, as well as the excellent quality cuisine. At the time of the bill, as already "alerted" by previous reviews, I checked the price of all the courses and found that for the scampi appetizer the price on the receipt was 30 euros, compared to the 20 euros indicated on the menu. Having reported the incident to the owner, I was refunded 10 euros with many apologies. Such a pity. Why ruin the good work done this way? It can happen once but if too many reviews report the same problem, the light bulb of legitimate doubt comes on.
