12/03/2024: diciamocelo, il pesce di mare non è certo la specialità di questa bellissima terra, per cui i titolari accetteranno il giudizio di singolarità assegnato al loro ristorante. fresco e a volte addirittura vivo, il pesce è di altissimo livello e ampia varietà. le preparazioni sempre rispettose della stagionalità. i prezzi in linea. il servizio attento e cortese. a pochi km dal lago, il panorama non è dei migliori, ma siamo a tavola, non in spiaggia e quel che conta non manca.

An experience that if you are on Garda you must have, an atypical place and almost familiar staff with combinations and reinventions of genuine and abundant dishes, from fish to desserts (try the combination of apple pie + vanilla ice cream) you will not be disappointed never disappointed.

17/03/2024: Let's start from the fact that you can book online and then you arrive and are told that the system doesn't work so if they don't have a place you risk being left without a table... I'd say it's a problem that needs to be solved given that nowadays many people use this way of booking. 25 minutes before receiving 3 cold appetizers (cold cuts and cheeses) and if you want to order three different first courses and the room is full, you are told, even in an annoyed tone, that three different first courses will not be served at the table because the person in the kitchen at the first courses she is alone and struggles... I can understand everything, but either you write it on the menu, or you organize it differently. The food is not bad, but nothing exceptional. I really don't think we will ever go back there again.

15/09/2023: Siamo stati a cena, posto meraviglioso, romantico, personale attento e cordiale che si è assicurato che ogni nostra richiesta venisse soddisfatta, cibo squisito tra i sapori locali e quelli del sud. Costata di manzo strepitosa la consiglio a tutti, ottima anche la pasta cacio pepe e tartufo. Poi il dolce della casa, una zuppa inglese rivisitata... sublime. Prezzi nella norma e qualità assoluta dei prodotti. Ci torneremo sicuramente..

10/09/2023: premetto che sono per lavoro su Gavardo dove ad agosto ho trovato tutto chiuso, quindi essendo inizio settembre il ristorante era in fase di riapertura, quindi mi sarei aspettato una situazione non ottimale...invece devo dire....chef molto gentile e assistenza in sala da parte del personale molto disponibile e premuroso. Ho mangiato diversi piatti....basta dire che ci sono tornato due sere di seguito....ma il top, da napoletano che la ama, e' la parmigiana di melenzane; finalmente uno chef che non si inventa revisitazioni o manipolazioni di uno dei piatti piu "belli" della cucina napoletana; ottima la pasta cacio e pepe con tartufo. Quindi tanta normale e giusta semplicita' con qualche esperimento, cacio e pepe e tartufo, portano a un ottimo voto..... Poi la carne ottima sia nella qualita' che nella cottura, io vado sul cotto e devo dire ottimo. Quindi complimenti e spero di ritornare a trovare la cucina dello chef e l accoglienza della sala.

12/03/2024: The dirty Brescian soup, the spit cooked just right, neither too sweet nor too salty, the family atmosphere make this old trattoria highly recommended. But it's a pleasure to go there even on a weekday, for an honest business lunch. Advised.
