07/04/2024: First of all, let me clarify that it is not a hotel. It is a historic villa with an adjoining botanical garden, very well cared for. Recommended visit during the flowering period, i.e. from the beginning of April to the end of May. There are numerous plants from different ecosystems, worth mentioning is the valley of ferns and the Japanese style area with lots of bamboo. Many varieties of azaleas and rhododendrons. The Villa houses finds from the family who lived there.

03/04/2024: Disappointment, tasted the dove at the table, very good, then sold on leaving the restaurant but made 9 months earlier with a different taste and not fresh. Disappointment!

06/04/2024: In a world where mountain refuges/chalets/meetings have now reached gourmet prices, the polenta library is a beacon of hope and civilization. Absolutely excellent prices for high quality (and generous quantity) products. Therefore a highly recommended place, which can easily rise to the Olympus of the best refreshment points in Lombardy

19/03/2024: Magnificent location and view, everything else to be reviewed: too many seats, crowded tables, large groups behaving like at a bar, discreet but pre-cooked food (the very short waiting times are proof of this), hasty service. The only positive note was the more than honest bill.

05/04/2024: The burgers are fantastic. The Cesar's Salad is also hard to please, but you should really go here for a burger. The fries are awesome, more like really cross fried potatoes. Large selection of different craft beers.

29/03/2024: Excellent place to eat burgers and fries, very good meat and more particular combinations than the usual sandwiches. Nice and modern place, not too large divided on two levels in the center of Como. Fair prices for what you eat, recommended!

24/03/2024: It is an excellent place, beautiful location, excellent food, service in line with the type of place and courteous staff (sometimes a little distracted and not always attentive to customer care, but we can work on this...). All accompanied by a Latin musical background. Great atmosphere, a perfect balance between light and shadow. Even 4-legged friends like the location and are welcome if their behavior is appropriate and respectful. Highly recommended place, which I have been frequenting for a couple of years now, to which I always love to return...

06/04/2024: Really exaggerated prices Starters expensive and scarce in every way. They cut the caciocavallo with a slicer and manage to make slices so thin that you can see through them. (They probably pay gold for it) 4 euro bruschetta for two bites and off you go! Pizzas with good dough, but quality ingredients not in line with the prices. Even Margherita pizza made with a little mozzarella and raw tomato puree!! Not recommended... obviously there isn't much better in Como! This explains the other not terrible reviews!

06/04/2024: A nice little restaurant. Very popular with young guests. It was well attended to full. Lots of foreign tourists. Prices, for the rush, rather moderate.
