01/04/2024: good food, very polite and kind staff.. my review is negative as I called this morning and I was answered in a very rude and unpolite way.. he asked me how many of us there are and I said two of us with a small child. and he replied to me then there are three of you yes of course I just told you .. if you want you can sit outside in the cold I reply no I have a small daughter and he replies I don't have children it's not my problem .. I wanted to tell you dear sir that you he's very rude and disrespectful, next time go and talk to your sister like that.. and please don't answer because otherwise I'll come and tell you these things at the restaurant 😡

01/04/2024: A slightly run-down tavern. In my opinion, the cuisine is not up to the expected quality. The garnishes with tuna were a little salty, with a stringy tuna that didn't mix well with the rest of the sauce. The fettuccine with chicken ragù was equally savory. In the appetizer, poached egg with asparagus cream, the ingredients were paired without great skill. Dish to forget. The beef was accompanied by completely burnt roast potatoes. Prices normal. Quick and courteous service.

03/04/2024: Truly a beautiful village where you can spend sunny summer or early summer weekends with your family or with your partner, a vast array of characteristic bars, ice cream parlors and restaurants.
I highly recommend a visit to the castle not far from the center of the village and perhaps some "wild" exploration in the surrounding area.

29/03/2024: Twenty minutes in the car waiting...F.C.Mac. Two years later you wait in the car for 10 minutes so you don't get a sandwich. Luckily, Burgher King is next door. If you don't understand the term FAST FOOD, change business.

01/04/2024: We spent Easter Monday with friends and ate really well. Normal prices but with excellent quality.
31/03/2024: €30 2 takeaway pizzas
There is a €12 "le scuderie" pizza on the price list with tomato, mozzarella, potatoes, brie, porcini mushrooms and speck.
At the checkout it says porcini speck and gluten-free brie. Moral of the story Porcini pizza from €9.30 + €2 of brie + €3.50 of speck and gluten-free dough from €3.50 (non-contamination is not even guaranteed so it is a half service) =18.30 € for a takeaway pizza.
List of other pizzas that needed an addition:
Virgilio: tomato, buffalo mozzarella, cooked speck, brie, mushrooms.
Baque: tomato, buffalo mozzarella, radicchio, cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, brie.
BE CAREFUL not to forget the name of the pizza you have chosen as they are very "fiscal" here

07/05/2024: About 4 years ago I was disappointed by the service... yesterday I tried again but it was all a disappointment... Excellent food but poor service... I mean we ordered then after us other people arrive who order after us and are served first already, there it is not correct regarding customers who order first, and wait for double... Then finally we ask for the bill but, after 20 minutes it doesn't arrive... You ask for the bill and they answer, it arrives immediately but, another 15 minutes pass min is still requested and after 10 minutes the bill arrives... The food is excellent but the service needs to be reviewed and organised... the waiters are very good but their bosses should see certain things as incorrect... PS YOU'RE RIGHT I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE MAEI SHOULD LEARN HOW TO MANAGE CUSTOMERS BETTER. first thing, if a customer orders before the others, it's obvious that it arrives first and not because someone is a friend, they pass the order in front of them... Second thing, if you don't want to bring the bill to the table, just tell the bill to the cashier and not that the customer has to request it 3... 4... Times the bill... And this is told to him by someone who knows what a restaurant or a farmhouse is.... YOU LEARN TO ACCEPT COMMENTS AND REVIEWS AND UNDERSTAND WHERE IT IS THE MISTAKE INSTEAD OF OFFENDING PEOPLE IF THEY WRITE WRONG..

05/04/2024: My wife and I came to use a wonderbox that was about to expire, fortunately the owner accepted the voucher even though she was no longer included in the wonderbox program. We ate a platter of really excellent cold cuts with fantastic onions, the wine in the glass was very good Lambrusco, then we had two risottos alla pilota and... Fantastic! I was curious to try real pilot rice, coming from the typical creamed risotto of Verona, and I was surprised at how good it was. Finally we had two really good desserts (outside the wonderbox): Belgian chocolate pudding and Elvezia cake. Both amazing, we split them up to taste them and so we finished on a high note. As you have understood, the experience was more than positive, if we pass through Mantua again we will certainly return, because the rest of the menu was very interesting and the rustic and hospitable environment was very welcoming. I highly recommend everyone to go there if you are passing through, we will certainly be back.
02/04/2024: Unfortunately, the waitress didn't feel like serving us 1 hour before closing time, even though tables were free and other people were still at Primi Piatti. We were immediately given a business card from another restaurant, even though we were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant. Very unfortunate.

06/05/2024: Excellent venue. The possibility of accessing both from the road by car and from the Mincio cycle path is excellent. Excellent eBike rental service and charging possibility.
