17/10/2023: Cuisine : Très mauvaise. Nous avons pris le plat le plus cher de la carte. Aucune saveur aucune qualité. Pas de sauces ni de garniture avec. Le prix est énorme comparé à ce qu’on nous a servi. Quantité du plat minuscule pourrait être un apéro et non un plat. L’huile de friture des fruits de mer est très mauvais et sent mauvais.
Service : Le serveur désagréable d’entrée pas aimable du tout aigri sans sourire. Aucune patience. Limite il est pressé… Nous avons demandé de changer de place car trop de soleil sur la terrasse, suite à ça Monsieur le serveur aux cheveux bruns bouclés a soupiré fortement car sa l’embêtait de tout déplacer. Puis nous servait très mal par la suite également.( en nous évitant le plus possible ) Très mauvais service pour un restaurant si cher !
Le pire reste à venir… pour se venger il nous a bien arnaqué sur le prix en rajoutant des supplément de prix puis en modifiant les prix des boissons que j’avais bien contrôlés aupavant.
J’ai payé.. une fois partie je me suis rendue compte que j’ai bien payé plus que le nécessaire… autant vous dire plus jamais je met les pieds dans ce affreux restaurant.
Ambiance : Très dommage pour un si joli endroit, belle terrasse, magnifique décoration, jolie plage. Bien placé au bord de la mer mais cela ne suffit pas. Ambiance glaciale.
J’ai pris de la peine d’écrire tout ce texte pour que vraiment vous faisiez attention et contrôlez bien votre addition à la fin.
Plus jamais je met les pieds chez eux ! Et je déconseillerai fortement à l’avenir à mon entourage! A fuir absolument !
02/10/2023: Great food. Local and traditional dishes from the menu make you understand why the region is so popular. The service is exemplary and the advice on dishes and wines is very relevant. The sunbeds are not very accessible price-wise but the view and atmosphere make it definitely worth it. Also, give Giuseppe a raise! That man deserves it

31/03/2024: On the advice of locals, I chose this restaurant outside the narrow streets frequented by wealthy tourists in Portofino. The name promises well, it is a trattoria, but - although still genuine - there isn't much of a trattoria anymore: the portions are not so small but the prices are high.
The choice is not very varied. The staff is very kind and friendly.
Perhaps worth trying again by taking the mixed starter.
22/03/2024: Trattoria in the center of Portofino, a few minutes from the marina.
Very positive experience, very tasty and abundant dishes, Ligurian sea and land cuisine.
Attentive service and fair prices in line with the location, I recommend it!

20/11/2023: Se voce vai a Portofino não pode deixar de conhecer o Restaurante de Frutos do Mar, Da I Gemelli, ótima gastronomia da Liguria, na margem de Portofino com a vista para cais. A carta de vinhos e a melhor de Portofino. O serviço é excelente, vale ressaltar o especial atendimento do manager GIO GABRIEL e também do proprietario da casa MATTEO muito gentil em receber todos os clientes.
25/10/2023: Excellent pesto and Nonas pasta was amazing. The staff were all very friendly. House wine by the glass was good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful local cuisine, without fuss.
Away from the overly touristy center, where prices are significantly higher.
Be careful though, cutlery costs at €5/pers. A glass of white wine for €9.
Beautiful view of the port.
01/04/2024: Magical place, very kind owner and staff, excellent food and wine, the kids pampered us, both us and the 2 children, refined place but also a bit like home.

The biggest concern was the tiramisu. Made of cream only and didn’t taste ok. I felt out of sort the following morning.

26/03/2024: All the food is very delicious. Good quantity, good service, fast and with beautiful views of the castle. All the desserts were delicious (pana cotta, apple pie and tiramisu). Quite high price but I understand that they all cost the same in this area

24/03/2024: Dropped by for a drink. No prices listed on the menu which suggests pretentious. Checked drinks price of cocktails 20 euro but clumsingly didn’t check the price of a small beer which I realised was 15 euro.
Complete waste of money.
Will not visit again.

18/02/2024: Prenotato per 4 alle 14.30 , alle 14.57 la proprietaria "scopre" che siamo in 4 e non in 2 e che quindi bisogna aspettare. Alla domanda su quanto ci voleva perché un tavolo si liberasse la risposta è stata l"se trovate in un altro ristorante" ...... la fortuna di avere un posto meraviglioso e la disgrazia dell'incapacità nel saperlo gestire.
13/11/2023: Ottima esperienza sabato a pranzo. Tavolo pieds dans l'eau. Cozze e patate di antipasto, con un guazzetto saporito da scarpetta. Cozze sarde da pieno appagamento. Come primo, spaghettoni con calamaretti spillo, al dente perfetti. Pigato in mescita (mi piacerebbe sapere il produttore, era ottimo). Conto più che corretto per lo spettacolo del porticciolo al sole ma soprattutto per la qualità del cibo. Bravi, una sicurezza a Portofino.

05/02/2024: What can I say other than wow, we had dinner on the terrace, breathtaking view. Young and brilliant chef, excellent welcome. We had dinner a la carte, generous portions, unique flavors and an incredible treatment of the raw materials. Good choice of wines.

05/11/2023: Placé dans une petite ruelle au calme, la terrasse de ce restaurant nous a donné envie de nous arrêter. Service rapide. Par contre, assez peu d’effort pour comprendre notre «mauvais » italien. Plats non disponibles. La nourriture est (très) moyenne, les portions sont (très) petites et les prix (très) élevés !
20€ pour un verre de spritz je crois que c’est un record !
30/09/2023: Pranzo con amici. Rapporto qualità prezzo. ALLUCINANTE … non si può spendere 80€ per un antipasto scarso e 6 gamberi cotti nel burro e limone ! Porzioni scarsissime ….. vino e caffè ….. servizio impeccabile. Personale gentile …. Ma state attenti ai prezzi !!!

06/04/2024: Prices for drinks are cosmic - small Coca (200 ml) costs 9€... I was a bit shocked of that. The waiters pet the local dogs and then serve the food with the same hands. The food was decent (pasta), the portions were quite large, but I'm only giving one star for the drink prices, they should be ashamed of their rip offs.
04/04/2024: The best place in Portofino!! Atmosphere, service and food... If you are in Portofino and want to save, we recommend McDonalds, having said this because of the despicable opinions that are based on $$$$> this is an expensive place and Portofino may not be for everyone
