05/04/2024: We ate at this magnificent venue this evening. The restaurant is truly amazing because it has a very relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. The cuisine is traditional and typical of the city of Turin and the waiters who are very kind, absolutely prepared and will know how to put you at ease (as well as making you laugh more than a few!) have been able to advise us on the best dishes at their disposal, even if the The entire menu is really inviting, with a varied choice and excellent value for money! 26/03/2024: From the reputation it has, I was a little disappointed. Fake classic environment, a little too lit with cold light. Friendly and professional staff. Interesting enough menu, but not all dishes are well made. Good raw fish, but the oyster didn't look good and the water inside was too much. Very good prawn tartare. Fresh seafood pasta... Nothing special. Cod and artichokes, good, fried artichokes and prawns, I remembered them all night. We didn't like the desserts, but you can't say they were terrible. In the end, excessive price for what was served.

The owner is always super friendly and nice and attentive to the needs of his customers. The quality of the food is excellent and the fish very fresh. The portions are generous. Fantastic desserts. Super pampered... Excellent value for money. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

16/03/2024: Avevo recensito questo ristorante qualche anno fa. Era stata una esperienza gradevole. Devo dire però che questa volta non è andata bene. Non discuto sulla qualità del cibo che resta sempre valida. Quello che mi ha deluso è stato il servizio scostante della signora. Avevo già percepito la cosa al telefono quando ho prenotato. Mai un sorriso, mai chiesto se andasse tutto bene. Sarà stata la giornata difficile? Lo spero per lei. Mi è quasi sembrato che le stessimo dando fastidio. Carta dei vini con prezzi un po' "impazziti". Nota di plauso al proprietario che sa fare il suo mestiere.

06/04/2024: We chose this restaurant after discovering the menu on the internet. The service was impeccable throughout our meal. The restaurant is quite noisy, it was difficult for us to hear each other when we were chatting. We were quite disappointed with the quality/price ratio, in fact, we ate well but the prices charged were way too high! Including for cocktails and glasses of wine. We still had a nice time. On the other hand, we will not come back. There are much better places for a much more reasonable price.

29/03/2024: We celebrated our wedding here and it was a moment beyond expectations. Quality, courtesy, availability, location all above the wildest expectations. Since we were a small wedding of just a few people, during the organization phase we were almost resigned to having to settle for a restaurant given the difficulty in finding a beautiful location that would also allow weddings with a small number of participants, then a stroke of luck made us find Villa Somis who allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams. Thank you thank you and thank you again.

25/03/2024: Experience to forget in this restaurant. A girl with long straight blonde hair tied back, with an incomparable listlessness and arrogance, truly out of place, took the lead. The only thing that survived from the dinner was the veal with tuna sauce; what should have been a braised dish instead arrived as a fat-filled and BOILED (not braised) stew, watered down in broth instead of its own restricted gravy. Asked for two glasses of wine by the glass (€10 each), pouring the second one finished the bottle but not even an inch had been poured, so we pointed out the CLEAR difference in quantity with the other one and the girl mentioned above, snorting strongly she went to get another one. At the time of the bill, unheard of rudeness. On our way out we met a couple of customers who had gone out to smoke and were making the SAME OBSERVATIONS about the waitress as us, in fact we exchanged a few words about it, all very negatively surprised. Work in contact with the public is not for everyone, this was clear proof of that. Never again. EDIT: Reply to the restaurant: First of all I appreciate the education and courtesy in your response, unfortunately not found with the girl above. Dinner on Wednesday 3 January 2024. In the room there was also a young boy and a girl with glasses if I'm not mistaken. The waitress I am referring to, the other customers outside the restaurant and I imagine also the customers who complain about it in various other reviews, was behind the counter when we arrived and was also doing the accounts, she came to take the order and told us brought the wine. I remember perfectly that she had long straight hair tied in a high ponytail. But on that date there were only the 3 people mentioned working in the restaurant in the room. When he hands over the bill he doesn't even raise his head, nor say thank you, nor ask how it went, nor say hello. If you notice, it has also been found in other comments.

We sat down and there was already a welcome from the chef with a Russian salad - I would say normal - but you could see that it had been out of the fridge since before our arrival. As an appetizer we took a Fassona Tartare which seemed more minced than cut with a knife, and an unbalanced vitello tonnato with too much sauce and also in this case it was clear that it was already prepared, having said that good meat. Followed by paccheri with turnip rhymes, but with a raw topping and ravioli del plin with an interesting fondue but a little overcooked. Wine at an appropriate price for a 2019 Barbaresco.
