16/03/2024: In front of Piazza Victorio Emmanuelle, the perfect restaurant, 5 minutes walk from the historic district. We enter and immediately we feel good there. Cozy decor. Antonella welcomes us warmly. The cuisine is simply exquisite, simple, tasty. Chef Sergio cooks regional products to highlight them. A pure happiness. A passionate and so friendly couple. I recommend!

06/04/2024: Frankly, I don't understand the positive and even enthusiastic reviews, I must deduce that many people have never frequented a real fish restaurant, or have poor eating habits. They have good raw materials, but the dishes are soaked in cream and various sauces, scandalous on fish dishes and in a seafood risotto. Except for the raw seafood, which is decidedly fresh. Overall, an experience to forget ❌

17/03/2024: Excellent quality food offered in an intimate and romantic setting. Varied and delicious homemade starter, delicious paccheri with seafood in chickpea cream, fried food a panacea for the palate. Excellent value for money.

03/03/2024: July 2023. What an amazing little gem. Just 8 minutes walk from Via Garibaldi in Old Town. Just far enough off the tourist track to be a true local hangout. I was served some of the best food of all time during my stay in Monopoli. I onestly can't rate it highly enough. The staff were amazing, the food was tasty and menu prices were very fair and affordable. Looks nothing from the outside don't let that put you off visiting. It's March 2024 and I'm still thinking about the beautiful meal I had here and wishing this restaurant was in Dublin not Italy. Like a form of homesickness.

07/04/2024: Salted sea bass served raw, which obviously I didn't touch (I overlook the service, one thing above all, the waiter serves me the salad by sticking his finger in it). For the sea bass not an excuse and they made me pay the entire bill.... never again!!

28/09/2023: Ce restaurant propose une cuisine raffinée avec des produits du terroir frais et de grande qualité. Tant la qualité que la quantité y étaient. On a pu y savourer des mozzarella, burrata, légumes frais ainsi que de savoureuses viandes de boeuf cuites comme il se doit. Les vins qui y sont servis sont excellents et le personnel est connaisseur en la matière. Les temps d'attente sont tout à fait corrects. L'accueil, tant du personnel que du patron, est chaleureux. Le cadre est magnifique avec les salles où les repas sont servis, en plein air ou non, sont entourées de superbes jardins soigneusement entretenus avec plantes et oliviers. Il y a même un Trulli. La cerise sur le gâteau est les prix qui y sont en vigueur, tout à fait démocratiques (une entrée pour 2 et un plat principal par personne pour 2 personnes, avec un verre de vin par personne pour 2 personnes en plus d'une bouteille d'eau gazeuse nous coûtait entre 55 et 65€, couvert compris). L'emplacement semble assez isolé en pleine campagne sur une colline sur la route entre Monopoli et Alberobello, au point de se demander comment un tel restaurant puisse être connu et pourtant, les clients sont nombreux et nombre d'entre eux sont des touristes provenant du monde entier, donc pas de problème pour le retrouver et qu'il se fasse connaître, sa réputation tout à fait méritée dépasse probablement les frontières italiennes. Il y a un petit parking intérieur mais il y a de la place à l'extérieur pour stationner sa voiture. Il est néanmoins préférable de réserver car chaque fois qu'on y est allés, il y avait beaucoup de monde. Ce sont les propriétaires du B&B Tenuta Martinelli de Monopoli qui nous l'ont renseigné et on les en remercie encore. Une magnifique découverte.

18/02/2024: A really nice discovery made today, a welcoming environment where the owners welcome you upon arrival in a familiar way and all the staff are very kind. The dishes were excellent, freshly prepared and impeccably prepared. The quality/price ratio is also right. We will gladly return.

25/12/2023: Perfect welcome, lovely place. Strategically positioned specifically to see all the beauties (Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Locorotondo, Fasano, Savelletri, Martina Franca, etc...). Abundant morning breakfast, daily cleaning and room always tidy. What can I say, we are satisfied! We will certainly return to visit other destinations. Oh I forgot, a few steps from the wonderful sea. Recommended to everyone!!!

10/03/2024: Terrible experience, an hour of waiting (it was Saturday evening and I understand, let's move on) ... My 3 pizzas arrive, 2 of which are acceptable and 1 very raw and lumpy pizza that looked like a focaccia, I point this out to the waitress and she says with open arms "What can I do, the oven is the same and the pizza chef too" ...I won't comment, we ate what we could. Another thing is the cover charge €2.50 for 2 olives and paper table linen and a plastic bottle of water paid €4
