07/02/2024: Finally I had dinner in the 'Fork' bistro part of the starred restaurant Dal Corsaro. They have an à la carte menu and a tasting menu (€70 I think). I chose 3 courses from the à la carte menu, culurgiones, pork capocollo and sbrisolona. Also abundant and delicious dishes, quality and fresh ingredients. The modern/classic contrast between the two rooms (bistro and restaurant) is very beautiful. I will definitely return to try the tasting at the Dal Corsaro restaurant. The staff were very friendly, especially the chef's mother was very welcoming and helpful.

05/04/2024: Lunch offer at €25 with first course (chosen spaghetti with crab and) + second course (chosen fried fish), quarter of wine, water, coffee and cover charge. Good quality food (the first course is better than the fried one) and friendly service

Unfortunately some of the menu prices on the bistro's website and on the door of the restaurant (when closed) were not updated and upon our arrival, given the menu prices on the door and at the table, we were very surprised by some differences, in particular the dish "traffic light" €10 more. Update the site!!!

03/05/2024: I went to this restaurant after having previously booked and agreed on the time at which my guests and I would arrive, we arrived on time on time, we asked for our table, the owner looked at me bewildered, there were no free tables and she repeatedly asked me if there are 3 of us, I reply that I have booked for 7 people, but she is very annoyed and makes some people move to try to get a table, but we are not there yet, she claims to seat 7 adults in a table that could contain them at most 4, when I refuse he fumbles again and magically we manage to sit in enough living space, and I think the worst is over... But the best was yet to come... we waited over an hour before seeing the first one appear, 4 of us took some trofie with crab, we kindly asked for special forks to extract the crab meat, after several requests they brought us 1 for 4 diners, then gradually a succession of gross errors: the mixed fried fish still raw, should have been baked potatoes instead they brought fried potatoes which were also not yet fully cooked, with beginners' timing. A "catastrophe" but that's not all, adding insult to injury: fixed menu increased by €5 per person and cover charge x 7 for this "impeccable service"...

21/04/2024: Catastrophic service and the dishes frankly leave something to be desired! The waiter throws you the plates in front without a word, a welcome or thank you or even without offering anything! Really hateful, the only thing we wanted was to escape this atmosphere! The carbonara pasta where the egg had coagulated because it was so cooked and the vongole pasta filled with oil!

28/03/2024: The managers and staff are affable and kind people, they immediately put you at ease. The restaurant is housed in a historic building in the center of Cagliari, very characteristic. Add to all this excellent cuisine and you have a complete picture. We will definitely see each other again, greetings and a hug from Emanuele and Paola from Bologna

02/01/2024: Consigliato il locale da una conoscenza e devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente colpita dal locale, inoltre dalla cortesia dei camerieri e dalla bontà e particolarità del menù proposto. Vale la pena di provare.

22/10/2023: Our last meal in Sardinia and what a way to go out! Superb meal, lovely Sardinian wine, and we ate outside in the warmth. On a Sunday lunchtime it was packed with locals and some tourists. The food is very clever. A lot of time and skill has been put into creating and presenting the dishes and we very much appreciated it. Service was attentive w/o being always in your face. Highly recommend the local take on vitello tonnato, with beef carpaccio, tuna, caper berries, little dabs of pesto and croutons. The waiter said the tuna mix is something that the kitchen put a lot of effort into and it shows. Pasta is housemade and beautifully silky. Some dishes are 'off the beaten track' and DH had pork ribs with barbecue sauce which he rated as some of the best ever. And leave space for desserts. They aren't just delicious they look the bomb.

05/02/2024: Luigi Pomata è un artista. Nel desolante panorama della ristorazione, dove ormai l'improvvisazione è tristemente diffusa, da Pomata si va davvero a fare un viaggio culturale. Per la qualità dei prodotti e per la maestria dello chef il corrispettivo richiesto è proprio onestissimo. Una certezza.

01/01/2024: Cena di capodanno😱non si può descrivere o meglio da dimenticare. Location triste, fredda non di temperatura, tavoli preparati per festa campestre non sicuramente per un cenone. Cibo inqualificabile ma la cosa più spiacevole il rumore in sala e il via vai continuo dei commensali; l’impressione era di trovarsi nel caos di un quadrivio. Unica nota positiva la gentilezza delle due ragazze in sala. Lascio Cagliari con un brutto ricordo peccato perché ho trovato una città molto bella e la sua gente molto cordiale. P.s oggi ho mangiato benissimo a Casa Clat

18/03/2024: The food was far from bad especially if you want to taste Italian carbonaras. But the service is deplorable. When we arrived, the owner told us I'm French but treated us like everyone else in Sardinia, that is to say with no respect. The wait for the dish was very long, when we questioned the waiter to know where to go in the evening in town, big smile I will help you and ultimately never dared to come back to our table. As we leave, the owner gives us the excuse of terrace service for drinks but it is unacceptable to leave customers who are eating abandoned. I absolutely do not recommend.

09/02/2024: E’ una pizza veramente superlativa. Dovete provarla. Serietà accoglienza gusto e ingredienti di qualità. Faccio i miei complimenti ai ragazzi che ci hanno accolto a braccia aperte e invito tutti a provarla!! Provate e non vi pentirete.

29/01/2024: La pasta alle vongole poco gustosa, costituita da spaghetti eccessivamente cotti, a tratti incollati fra loro, con poco prezzemolo e poche vongole, il tutto condito con poco olio. Secondo costituito da fritto misto di calamari arrivato al tavolo freddo con porzioni sempre rigorosamente inadeguate alla porzione tipo, stessa cosa dicasi per il contorno di pattatine fritte. Il vino della casa di bassa qualità. Il locale esteticamente carino. Per quello che abbiamo mangiato rapporto qualità prezzo non corrispondente a quanto menzionato nei tipi di menu proposti dal locale.

28/01/2024: Mi trovo a Cagliari con colleghi di lavoro e amici dei colleghi e all’ora di pranzare convinco tutti ad andare in un posto sicuro: Da Serafino, ci andavo occasionalmente anni fa e si mangiava davvero molto bene. Mai scelta fu meno azzeccata, la qualità dei piatti è nettamente cambiata, ci servono piatti “da mensa” la pasta con la bottarga è una pasta in bianco con una spolveratina di bottarga grattugiata, cotolette confezionate, risotto ai frutti di mare insapore, cibo in generale senza gusto. Personale sempre gentile e posto pulito ma di certo non basta. Mi sono dovuta scusare con i miei commensali. Mai più.
