15/09/2023: We had lunch in this magical place, a characteristic restaurant on the beach of "LA VITE", the last beach in Amalfi. Excellent food, delicious seafood salad, exceptional spaghetti with clams and an excellent pacchero with monkfish and black olives. If you are in Amalfi you must not miss it This magical place can be reached either by calling the restaurant that comes to pick you up by boat in Amalfi or by going down 400 steps from the Belvedere Hotel in Conca di Marini. Highly recommended, accurate service, prices within the norm, excellent wine with yellow peaches (percoche) and what can I tell you I repeat, not to be missed. Very crowded in July and August where it is even difficult to book.

17/10/2023: The atmosphere and food were outstanding! This charming restaurant is at the bottom of the cliffs and the sounds of waves gently washing ashore is so romantic. This is a cannot miss eatery!
12/10/2023: Cannot recommend this place. The only thing goog to mention is that the seafood served was fresh. Preparation is awful and sloppy, starters portions are ridiculously skimpy, the wine (no selection options) is bad, the salad is obviously supermarket prepacked grade, and against all that food is WAY OVERPRICED. If you think you are willing to pay the price to enjoy the scenery: bring your own drinks and food and enjoy them by the little harbour or sit down for a simple pizza at one of the other two restaurants right next door and you will be way better off.

09/02/2024: This is the place to be if you find yourself on the beach here. The outside room is fantastic because it feels like having lunch on the beach 🥰. The smell of the sea mixes with that of the dishes. The food is excellent, especially the shellfish, the exceptional mussels, the fried fish left me speechless and the chef's proposals based on the catch of the day. The staff is friendly, very helpful and attentive to requests, the service was also fast.
What you spend is worth it. A further service that the structure offers is the water taxy to reach Amalfi. Top 😄

25/09/2023: This is a good restaurant, but it’s not even close to the level of Michelin star.
On this trip we had a chance to visit two Michelin restaurants: Il Refettorio and Chic Nonna in Florence, both have 1 Michelin star, but the difference in food, service and ambiance is huge.
We don’t recommend this restaurant!
02/09/2023: Excellent meal and service in a beautiful setting. The dishes were creative and consistently well done. Lots of little “extras” including pallet cleanser before desert, amuse bouche sampler to start, and an excellent fresh bread display. Tasting menu was well worth it. Easily deserving of the star, better than most we’ve tried with that rating.

Ristorante al Belvedere

10/10/2023: They try to come off like they are a high end restaurant but fall short. We couldn’t get a seat near the water apparently because guests of the hotel take first priority. Ok. I get that. Even though we had reservations. They put us in a center aisle and the waiter bumped my chair at least 4 times. My hubbys meal was cold and had to be sent back . Was obviously microwaved because of his cut marks. A good kitchen doesn’t even have a microwave. Disappointed in the whole experience.
20/07/2023: This is a hotel restaurant, and the food is fine but nothing special. They have lots of older uniformed staff who are sweet but this is not a destination restaurant. And they should turn off all the aircon and open the windows - what an unnecessary waste of energy. The sea breeze is glorious.
1
