Careful service, raw materials used with techniques worthy of a Michelin restaurant, perhaps even better. Beautiful location with castle view and careful attention to the atmosphere. Compliments! 04/04/2024: We didn't expect to eat so well!
Lake fish cooked very well: all dishes, even the land ones, were delicious. In particular the trofie with whitefish and artichokes, the taglioline rendezvous, the carbonfish and the second courses, but the mixed starters and desserts are no exception!
The owner, very welcoming, was able to manage a table of hungry "walkers" together with the staff after a long day of trekking.
Total with wine €35 each, more than honest!
We will definitely be back!
22/03/2024: At the lake you should eat lake fish, I chose sea fish and it didn't excite me at all.

01/04/2024: Let me start by saying that I am not a lover of lake fish, but here I changed my mind, one dish tastes better than the other, a nice, clean place with an exceptional location, a stilt house on the lakefront, very friendly and helpful staff, fast service, prices in the norm

30/03/2024: Take-away pizza. Booked for 7.40pm and collected at 7.38pm as soon as it was warm. I don't judge the quality, since it was lukewarm, but I certainly can't say it was excellent. Good low price
23/03/2024: If you pass through Bolsena you cannot eat here at the Tavernetta!!! Really everything good, fast service and very kind.

25/02/2024: Siamo stati ospiti a cena in questo bellissimo posto tre sere su cinque della nostra vacanza. Menu buonissimo, compresa la pizza. Accoglienza e servizio top. Consigliatissimo!
17/02/2024: Siamo andati a pranzo a Il Pinzale dopo aver fatto un esperienza a cavallo. Cibo spettacolare, consiglio le polpette di patate con le tre creme carbonara amatriciana e cacio e pepe. Per quanto riguarda i primi amatriciana da 100 e lode!!! Sublime. Posto curato ed elegante immerso nel verde. Cucina buonissima e personale cordiale e disponibile!!! Top top top!!!

Dining with a beautiful view on the Lago di Bolsena. Fantastic service.
Perfect also for kids.
We had a relaxed dinner and kids were playing in the water.

01/04/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant we found online; as soon as we entered we were immediately pervaded by the smell of faeces which then accompanied us for the entire duration of the lunch, this could already be enough but unfortunately it didn't end there... as regards my first course (paccheri with seafood) the mussels had a to be precise with faeces (a real day of faeces..), when we got to the second one I was hoping that the fried food would lift everything up, obviously it didn't go like that... it was without salt and the squid were rubbish. To conclude the patty didn't have a melted heart. However, having said this, the staff was very kind, courteous and helpful and it is the only super positive note of this lunch.

24/03/2024: You spend too much for the type of venue. The pasta with clams was full of chilli and with very few full clams the rest were all empty placed on the plate on purpose. Very little variety of food and you could only get the steak by 500g otherwise nothing. There is no food for children, only expensive pasta with sauce. The prices of the dishes were unknown, the menu non-existent!!!!
24/03/2024: Leaving aside the structure to be reviewed, there is no physical menu (consequently the costs are not known) and furthermore there is very little choice, just think that for the second course only a fried dish or a steak was available which must be ordered above the 500 gr.
To top it off, even by calling 25 days in advance, the reservation didn't appear and we had to have lunch close to the entrance door.
Final summary:
Almost 200 euros for 5 spaghetti with clams, 3 fried foods and little more.

09/08/2023: Locale interessante nel cuore del centro storico di Bolsena. Ho trovato poco intuitiva l'entrata, non ben segnalata. Alla reception non ho trovato accoglienza. Ho dovuto attraversare le sale interne e uscire nel dehor per incontrare il personale che mi ha indicato il tavolo. Il menu, interessante e gustoso. Buoni i piatti, ben presentati. Particolari anche le rivisitazioni di alcuni piatti tipici. Qualche inciampo sul servizio. Per la stagione estiva il dehor si presta benissimo per cene romantiche. Coerente il conto.
07/08/2023: Freundlicher Service und gutes Essen. Speisekarte übersichtlich geordnet nach aus dem See/Meer oder von der Wiese. Auch für veggies ist gesorgt. Wir kommen gerne seit Jahren immer wieder 😄
