31/03/2024: Quality Easter lunch. Fast and efficient service. Since it was a fixed menu and a public holiday, it was not possible to choose alternatives to the dishes. The only flaws: sirloin with truffle not of great taste and braised ravioli that arrived after cooking.

28/03/2024: Organizing an intimate wedding celebration, I opted for this established restaurant in the Bergamo area. Fish menu proposed by the very kind and professional Michele exceeded my expectations, excellent wines to accompany the courses. Chef Giancarlo is a guarantee (octopus alla piñata my favourite). Very elegant table layout with the necessary movable spaces. Impeccable table service. Everyone is more than satisfied. I can only recommend it.

07/04/2024: I tried this pizzeria through some friends... nothing to say about the quality, the choice, the lightness (unfortunately, out of 4 pizzas, mine had a charred edge🙄) Good choice of beers and desserts... crowded environment. We recommend booking in advance especially if on the week. Limited parking

10/03/2024: Preso menu degustazione più degustazione di vino in abbinamento, ogni portata una piacevole scoperta, ottimi gli abbinamenti di vino (1gin tonic 3 vini) per chi vuole andare in uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce della zona di Bergamo, non rimarrete delusi!

04/03/2024: Abbiamo apprezzato professionalità e cortesia dello staff a partite dall titolare. Lo Spaghettone alle vongole era leggermente insipido. Le restanti portate,dolci compresi, ottimi!

02/04/2024: We took advantage of the bar service, so I can't express an opinion on the food, but I saw that it is in the Michelin guide and therefore I think we have a refined menu worthy of the wonderful place they occupy, right at the top of San Virgilio as soon as we leave from the funicular! Of course the prices are high, as is logical given the location. Consider that a coffee costs 2.40 euros and a slice of dessert 10 euros.

18/03/2024: Historic pizzeria in Bergamo, I return for dinner with friends after about 10 years since the last time: excellent surprise! Pleasant environment, well lit, not too noisy even if crowded. Friendly and helpful staff. We decide for fish rather than pizza: wide choice and honest prices. The Gran mixed fish dish is fabulous, with an abundance of delicacies (excellent and fresh fish) and also the mixed fried food. Interesting desserts and quality house sparkling wine (even better than many in bottles). Great Q/P ratio. We'll be back soon!

25/03/2024: Very nice and welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff. They pay a lot of attention to celiacs, in fact as soon as they found out that I have celiac they immediately changed my cutlery and brought me some good gluten-free bread. I ate a lactose-free and gluten-free salmon pizza which was very good I must say. I highly recommend this place, even the glutinous dishes were very good according to the other people I was with.

10/03/2024: The food was good, the service was ok, the only flaw is that after having made a reservation 4 days before, we arrive and there is no table. After waiting 30 minutes table ready. A little disorganized.

01/04/2024: Lunch with friends. I only took a €20 starter recommended by the waiter, I would suggest taking more care in the explanation of the dishes so as not to make the raw material used reductive, which seemed to me to be of excellent quality but you also need to know how to enhance it with more empathy towards the customer and less encyclopedism. Octopus, prawns and scallops with sauces that were based on potatoes, beetroot and pumpkin: in my opinion a little lacking in flavour, I would have dared a little more with the flavors and spices. In conclusion, quality food but a little stiff service and an overpriced bill. 10 of us, including a 15 month old baby, had 8 starters, 7 first courses, 5 desserts, 2 bottles of wine, €65 each. Perhaps more for tourists than for the typical Italian who also seeks emotion at the table.

27/03/2024: What a great find - amazing food, very friendly staff and great location right next to the lake. The restaurant has its own parking which is a huge plus. The sea food is excellent and very fresh. We loved the octopus and the Cacio pepe al mare!

05/04/2024: Nice place, well kept, organised, quality food. With typical Bergamo dishes, good, shame about the bread which I found not adequate to the quality of the rest of the things, courteous and friendly, price appropriate for the day

28/12/2023: Se non ricordo male la prima volta che ho mangiato una pizza in questo locale è stato circa 35 anni. Per tutto questo tempo non ho mai smesso di andarci, infatti, ci torno con la mia famiglia almeno una volta al mese. Servizio eccellente e il cibo è sempre di buona qualità. Il locale è sempre molto tranquillo anche quando è affollato. La proprietà è sempre molto gentile e disponibile a soddisfare le richieste della clientela. Lo consiglio vivamente.
