07/04/2024: Easter Monday, I had the brilliant idea of ​​going to Arona with the family after lunch in an attempt to avoid the return traffic by stopping for dinner at the lake. After 20 minutes of uninterrupted hail we arrive and..... surprise there is no one. We book this restaurant while walking cold in the pedestrian area, consulting the menu outside. We sit down at 7.30pm, a small, rustic but well-kept place, wooden and straw chairs, checked tablecloths and menus written on blackboards hanging on the wall. We choose 2 risottos with thyme and creamed Arneis in the form of Toma di Sant'Andrea, a beer-baked cockerel on potato rosti and a lamb shank with potato pie. To drink water, a coke and a bottle of Barbera offered by the house, opened at the table, a discreet product. Risotto served at the table in the form of toma, there is a lot of thyme, perhaps a little of the toma, but overall an excellent dish. Cockerel served whole, good perhaps a little dry, shank I think is the dish of the evening, soft and delicate, cooked to perfection, pie that accompanies perfectly, one of the best I have eaten in recent years. Grappa to conclude and final bill of 113 euros, admittedly not very low, but for the place, the service and the raw materials used, all deserved. Compliments

04/01/2024: Locale carino e tranquillo.. abbiamo fatto un aperitivo, locale di nuova gestione, prezzi interessanti e titolare in gamba. Una valida alternativa ai locali del centro, birre ottime e scelta vasta. Aperitivi buoni e curati.

30/12/2023: Small and welcoming place, well looked after. Very professional, friendly and helpful staff and owners👏👍. Excellent cocktails, very good and garnished with great care. Excellent live music with Malamente in the persons of Claudia and Andrea in acoustic version. Andrea on the guitar gives you goosebumps, Claudia has a wonderful and fantastic voice, very good👏. The only criticism (Ricki, wants to be constructive) is the lack of extraction of the smells that came from the kitchen which unfortunately made us go home with our clothes smelling of fried food. I'm sure the owners will find a solution.

17/02/2024: Ho dato 1 perché di meno non si può dare. Siamo arrivati in 3 alle 20:05 e c'erano esattamente 8 persone sedute dentro. Abbiamo ordinato dopo 10 minuti, nessuno ci calcolava, da bere e da mangiare (3 burger perché fanno solo piccola cucina). Abbiamo ricevuto da mangiare alle 21:17 dopo aver chiesto gentilmente a che punto fossero i piatti la risposta della cameriera è stata "c'è un casino in cucina" (gli 8 di prima e noi 3 fanno 11 persone in totale). Andati a pagare ho richiesto che almeno le 3 bevande che abbiamo preso non venissero calcolate nel conto perché reputo inaccetabile aspettare più di un ora per mangiare 3 burger. Si sarebbero salvati ma ci hanno fatto pagare comunque tutto.. sconsigliatissimo, servizio lento, scortese e cibo mediocre.

07/04/2024: We stopped to eat, sitting at the outside tables, me, my husband and our 6 month old daughter, who remained sitting in the stroller drinking her milk, (she is not yet weaned) they also made us pay the cover charge for the baby, I find it really ridiculous! Unfortunately I only noticed it at home, emptying my pockets, otherwise I would have said it there. As for the food, it's nothing special, for the price they charge, I expected more, but I understand that the price depends on the place. No toilet paper in the bathrooms
