Unfortunately, the service was slightly lacking, but not too bad—they forgot to place our order. 03/04/2024: I chose this restaurant after reading a lot of positive reviews, and I came away disappointed. The taste wasn't exceptional either, but it was still good, no worries there. On the other hand, in terms of quantity on the plate, I found it exaggerated. The pasta dish was very light. The pistachio cream dessert was really a creamy background on the plate. So the quantity/price ratio is really not great. Damage...

25/10/2023: Small (less that 24 indoor seats) and cozy with white tablecloth atmosphere. The food and service are top=notch. We both had an appetizer and a second course - in this case we went with the special, agnolotti with porcini sauce. It gets our vote for best ever rendition of a dish we have had many times. The wine list is a good one and very reasonably priced. We would recommend without conditions. Even in October, reservations are essential on weekends.

02/04/2024: Finding vegan options is never easy or obvious but here you can eat very well, simple but very good dishes, a very rich starter and the dessert was truly exceptional (a cake with pistachio mousse and hazelnut brittle and salted caramel, perfectly balanced). We had a great time and will definitely be back 🤩

31/03/2024: We have gone here because of the good reviews but everything about this restaurant was bad, when we got there they gave us only one menu for 4 people and then we waited for half an hour to get 4 plates of pasta which were about 100g each so then we had to go to a nother restaurant after paying 60€ for 4 Handfuls of pasta

25/03/2024: Sunday lunch on the panoramic terrace with a wonderful view from Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore, young and willing service as well as punctual and discreet, dishes in my opinion with a correct quality/price ratio. Fully Satisfied!

05/04/2024: Incredible hotel in every way. The staff reflects the image of the hotel, taking great care. Even for 1 or 2 nights, to do once in your life, if possible with a lake view. Even the price is high, less exclusive out of season, to be put into perspective because in what we had paid (directly on the hotel's website), we had 2 breakfasts (also high-end worthy of a brunch at 50 euros) and access to the Spa, not to be missed either!

24/03/2024: Farmhouse with a breathtaking location, superlative polenta and braised meat, but the rest below expectations. Portions no longer as abundant as in the past.

07/04/2024: Perfect place.. if you want to leave poor and with the same hunger as when you entered. You may like the dishes even if they seemed more fakely refined than anything else... the quantities are those for tasting (do you remember the Checco Zalone of "it's cooked: you can drain it"? Here...), the prices make you think of being finished by Cracco! High-class restaurant environment (starched napkins and staff shirts; soft lights; low background music) which also goes poorly with the context - of the tourist town and the dishes that arrive at the table. Probably the worst place you can find in Stresa. Certainly the most expensive. Without any reason to be.

30/03/2024: All really good, excellent quality cuisine with friendly and professional staff. I recommend it for a moment to spend with the family in a welcoming environment. All perfect.

04/04/2024: I booked a table online, and got both an email notification and whatsapp confirmation. We arrived with welcoming smiles and great music that made me want to sing-along, but I refrained as to not embarrass my kids. I ordered the Taglierone which was more than enough for the two of us who were sharing it. The tastes were super, and the kind service offered to wrap the rest up for us to take home. There is also a kids menu that is offered. Upon leaving, my daughter got on the free wifi and we won a free dessert! Since we had already ordered dessert, the cost of it was deducted from the bill. We were kind of flustered upon leaving, and I regret that I didn’t leave a tip because I had no cash with me. I will surely be back!
