03/04/2024: Excellent pizza, tasty ingredients and excellent farinata. We will be back soon!!! Helpful staff, there were 12 of us, we all managed to eat at the usual time.
22/03/2024: Simple and well-kept environment, large internal room with large covered outdoor area closed for the winter. Excellent pizza dough which is offered in many types, good farinata. They also serve some starters and starters. Really honest prices.

01/04/2024: Excellent experience, starting from the staff, helpful and kind, we came a couple of times, once taking the pizza by the metre, of excellent quality, Roman style, while the other time we focused on the catering and taking excellent fish dishes!

Furthermore, you can only make two flavors of pizzone, so it's best to each get your own pizza.
19/03/2024: Informal but welcoming place. Generally very busy on weekends, but perhaps indicative of the quality of the food. Both the pizzas and the burgers are excellent.

24/03/2024: Informal place with friendly and welcoming staff. The pizzas have a crunchy and very thin crust so the judgment is up to personal taste. I had a calzone and it was very good. Much attention to dietary issues with ingredients also without lactose or gluten. Prices appropriate to the type of venue.

04/09/2023: Sono tornata per la seconda volta da “Silvio “ in occasione del Festival della Mente di Sarzana …e conto di ritornarci … qualità/prezzo ottima… farinata di ceci eccellente…buonissima anche la pizza e per finire una panna cotta alle fragole sublime… tutto ciò in un clima familiare cordiale .. allegro e molto veloce anche nel servizio… dimenticavo anche L assaggio e omaggio di una fetta di torta sema ( mai sentita prima ..) accompagnato anche dalla descrizione della titolare … (signora dotata di grande spirito di accoglienza, orgogliosa della propria attività di ristorazione e della storia e tradizione del suo locale)

31/03/2024: I was in a group of 18 people and they were available right away. Having ordered 18 pizzas we expected to wait and instead we were served very quickly. The pizzas were delicious and there was also the possibility to order other dishes. The place is beautiful and has very convenient reserved outdoor parking.

11/01/2024: I have always liked the Calcandola pizzeria because it overlooks Piazza Matteotti, the heart of the historic center of Sarzana, and because it has an aesthetically pleasing, warm and welcoming place. The owners are kind and professional. Unfortunately, the table service is not always up to everything else: a bit of carelessness and the lack of willingness to advise/try to satisfy particular dietary needs and alternatives to what is rigidly written on the menu should be avoided. Overall, apart from this small flaw, the place is certainly recommended.
09/12/2023: The pizza is very good, I often order takeaway and they are always very punctual. My favorite pizza is the mushroom one, it's really good!!

29/01/2024: Se vai a Sarzana o in giro per la Liguria, visto che hanno anche altre location in altre città, non puoi non assaggiare le loro specialità!
Ottima la farinata, piatto tipico di quella regione e fatto come da loro nessun altro riesce! La focaccia al formaggio, sottilissima e morbida.....ma anche tutte le altre varianti, davvero buonissime tutte compresa la pizza farcita!
Molto bravi, e soprattutto, molto gentili, considerando la gentilezza di altri ristoratori del luogo!!!! Da provare
